I still haven't bought a clamshell yet, but I still want one! I found a 366MHz model (iBook G3 Clamshell M6411) in good condition for $215 USD. There's one issue: it doesn’t have the logo on the back of the screen. As I understand, it's a physical item glued inside. Does anyone know if it can be recreated at home from rubber?

Never mind, I bought it :) 185 usd in the end. Will have it soon and will start buzzing with questions. How much is the difference in terms of speed and responsiveness compared to 466mhZ model?

I have an issue when I start copying a large file (8GB) from PC to G4.
When copying has started I hear high level noise from motherboard/cpu area. After some time the system hangs.
Does anyone aware what it could be?

(I tried another Ethernet Card => the same. I moved the target copy disk from the system ATA cable to an internal Card => the same (noise, hang))

I’ve noticed I’ll get occasional speaker noise during intense CPU usage but never any hanging. I’d create a new thread regarding it, you’ll have better visibility.

Could anyone please clarify will 603e Process Board work in PowerMac 7600?

(My 7600 cpu is 604 132Mhz but I have 603e 180Mhz from PowerBase clone)

I don't know, but if it has a 604 in it I'd keep it. That isn't a massive speed difference, and the 604 will still outperform the 603e in a lot of circumstances. Anything that uses a lot of computational power like photoshop for example. IDK what you're using it for, but if its games I'd imagine the 604 will come out on top there too, especially if its 3D.
