What are you targeting for your next smartphone purchase? The next Nexus device? Razr/Razr Maxx HDs? Galaxy Note 2? A new HTC flagship? Something else? Just curious where people are headed next.

Based the leaks, rumors and iOS 6, I was disappointed so I went with an international Galaxy S3. I dropped it and the screen broke so I'm waiting on my replacement (which I paid for in full, yes I love this phone that much!).

I might be interested in the next Nexus but I'll have to wait and see if it impresses me and if I have the money when it's released. I just got the GS3 less than 3 weeks ago so I'm not in a rush to buy a new phone.

I wouldn't mind trying the next version of Nexus (which I read may be due out in Oct or Nov. I'm pretty sure though I may take the plunge with the iPhone 5.

As much as I would like to get the new iPhone... There are so many other phones to choose from. The ones I'm most interested in following are the Nexus, HTC, Samsung's Galaxy, and Nokia's smartphone lineups.

I'll probably get the iPhone 5 and the new Nexus when it releases. In addition to the HTC One X I already have.

I've never been one to have only 1 phone, don't know how you guys do it.

Oh yeah we're the weird ones because we don't have 3 phones to rotate through.

This is such a weird thing for me, the iPhone announcement is tomorrow and I could care less, not maliciously but I've moved on to Android now.

I have the HTC One X.

As long as Android OEM's keep the good hardware flowing I can't see going back to an iPhone anytime soon.

Nokia Lumia 820. Rumors say it's coming to T-Mobile in november. #mybodyisready
(I'm still keeping a 3GS on hand for a testing device for my apps, but the Nokia will be my primary phone)

LOL, didn't mean it like that. I know it's a bit weird having so many phones but I like having the best of both worlds.

I want the best of both worlds! and so far i've been holding out to see if a ipad mini + android phone or nexus 7 + iphone is a better combo.

I guess you're method works lol :D

I picked up a 3 month old Galaxy Note for 200 gbp sim free. I've had an iPhone for 4 years but in terms of speed, screen quality and user experience the Note absolutely smokes my 4s. IOS seems very, very dated in comparison. Not only has it replaced my iPhone but with such a big screen I can't really see a reason to keep my iPad either.

That's the next step, to see if there's a viable alternative to my iPad.

I'll admit, I'll be much slower to get rid of it than I did finally with my iPhone.

I'm planning on getting the Galaxy Note II unless Apple pulls something crazy the iPhone 5 is different than the leaks. I just can't do a small screen anymore. Doesn't fit my needs personally for what I use the device for (YouTube, HBOGO, other video, books, rss reading, etc)

Good question, how do you have so many?

Ive always only had one but this time around i may get either a new Nexus or one of the Nokia 920 or 820 depending on which my carrier gets to go along w/ my GS3. And even then, i dont know if ill keep both. Ill probably sell which ever one i like the least. I certainly wont need two Android phones at the same time. Of course having different sized sim cards for the phones could be a pain in the a**.

Really looking forward to the new Nexus or Nexus's...if more than one comes out.

I had an Evo 4g... I was going to wait for the iPhone 5 but when I saw it was just a stretched screen and a different dock connector I passed and got the 4s. I already had a iPod touch so I had a lot of accessories and 3 docks including 2 click radios for idevices......

I would have waited. It's still going to have a better processor at the very least and an extra row of icons couldn't hurt :p

I will surely tune in though to hear about all the Android features Apple will "invent" tomorrow.

Gadgets are my hobby and something the wifey doesn't bother me about. I normally purchase one on contract and grab the rest off ebay for full price. If I don't like it I'll probably just resell it or give it away.

I'm also thinking about getting a Windows 8 phone, preferably HTC. Might just go for the all time 4some lol.

Depending on how money is, I might go with the 5 if I like it or the Galaxy or Nexus line if I don't. I like some of the bigger screen phones, but Im not exactly sure what direction I want to go yet.

When I had android I kept up with the different devices an I switched phones more often. Honestly I haven't had that same feeling, either because my iPhone 4 has done everything I have needed it to, or the fact that I'm pretty damn broke. Lol. I know I could sell them, but it also doesn't help that I have a whole arsenal of iPhone cases (including an Otterbox replacement that's coming in today).

The iPhone is going to be pricey :(. I might give it a try in a store but that'll be the end of it.

Nokia will be my way to go. I wanna have something new in my hands (currently holding a blackberry ;) )

Its priced no different then other smart phones, or are you looking at the unsubsidized cost?
