I'm liking this one more and more... I love the chilly tone of the shot contrasted with the warmth of the lights. Nice!Jesus Green Cambridge England.
This is one of your better photos, Chappers. I like the brooding feel of the sky and the way the wheel seem so in place yet out of place. Like a spaceship that has landed in old London. The light standard in the foreground is a distraction to me, especially since it has colors that make it stand out a bit. Can't have it all, eh?
Is this the observation thingy that is mentioned in The Da Vinci Code? Something like this was mentioned in passing in the book and I made a mental link to this image of yours.

here are a few of mine..
Most of them were shot with the 30D/10-22mm combo, except for the last one with the waves.. it was shot with the XSi/55-250 combo..
sorry about the quality.. seems to loose a lot between the CR2/TiFF > JPEG compression..more than i remember..

Not sure to be honest - it was around when he wrote the book but ...... well I just don't know offhand.
These all work well as postcards...really beautiful scenery. I especially like the lighthouse and the mountain. The lighthouse reminds me of Cape Meares lighthouse, but the coastline seems different. And the mountain looks a lot like Mt. Hood viewed from Lost Lake in late summer... how close am I on these?
