Thanks for the response. I put the gt 120 in lane 3 with gtx 1060 still in lane 1. My Mac Pro sees both cards in system profile. However plugging into the gt 120 I get no signal. Have I missed something? Acd 27” has a mDP, as well as the gt 120

Update: I got it working from another post I found with a 24” display. Unplug usb/power cords and plug mDP first. Now I have a bigger issue. Update to Mac OS 10.13.2 was going good till it restarted for final install. Now it has infinite restart trying to finish. If u have any ideas how to fix, plz do so. I’ve read and tried everything for 3.5 hours, still nothing. Have to take to Apple I guess

Try safe mode, and check if there is anything in Gatekeeper waiting for approval.

Try this:

OK, BEFORE YOU RUN THE APPLE SUPPLEMENTAL UPDATE with a card that requires the Web Driver you MUST remove a particular kext.

1. Look on your main Hard Drive and find the Library folder.
2. Inside it are more folders, one labelled "Extensions"
3. Inside "Extensions" is NVDAStartupWeb.kext, drag it to the trash and empty the trash. Make sure it is out of the Extensions folder.
4. Run the Apple Supplemental Update.
5. Reboot, with an EFI card you will still have one working screen.
6. Download and install the 117 driver.
7. Post results here

The above is from MacVids site. It worked for me when I fell into the install boot loop.

Latest macOS update 10.13.3 is build 17D47 on MacBookPro11,3. (Holding on MacPro5,1 update until NVIDIA drivers out). Interestingly with this update, BOTH graphics are listed in the system information overview: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB & Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB. Typically only one would be listed on this machine in the overview (Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB).

Unsure exactly what this means yet, but 10.13.3 may have some GPU improvements. Possibly further development with eGPU?

Well, at least this time Apple didn't screw around with build numbers. The build nos. are the same D47 for the Update and the combo update!

Would be helpful if you post your OS version and build number when posting about updates and drivers being released or not released. Especially important for those not running the current OS (10.13.x/High Sierra) and looking for help with older OS's.

- 10.12.6 has new build number 16G1212
- 10.11.6 has new build number 15G19009

Thanks bsbeamer. Your service seems to be better than nVidia, because I didn't find the link on their website.;)

Ha, thanks? It should show up in a day or two with full release notes.

Wish I could get recent version official Mac cards from them, but appreciate the fact NVIDIA continues to put these out in a timely manner. Great sign that they're willing to update a driver for an OS that's at least two versions old that just had a security update and get it out that quickly. Even more reason to support them. Hopeful we'll see a MacPro7,1 with legit NVIDIA cards.

Just waiting for the updated CUDA driver now.
