Really, one in a thousand. I don't think so buddy.

"I happened to outside when thit was being delivered and I was about to say to the delivery guy becareful with that as he merrily crossed the street...the strap on the case broke and .........he dropped it !!!!...luckily only from carrying height and he semi caught it......still....those plastic handles on those boxes are wimpy...BAD IDEA!!."

If you think about how many imacs are shipped...you would think we would be hearing more about bad boxes. Just callin' it like I see it. I didn't "look" for broken box threads. I just read. No one but you complained in my recent memory.

First off never said it was a epidemic. Secondly it happens more often than you think. It took me literally two minutes to find each thread. You said you researched it, how isn't that looking? You went through hundreds of posts.

Isn't research looking? You said I was the first to complain, clearly you were wrong. You said no one else complained but me that you could remember. In fact there are hundereds of posts of bad shipping experiences. The one I posted the guy had the exact same thing happen to him, the exact same thing.

I am just calling it like I see it. ;)

No one else complained in your recent memory? You must have altimiers.

Really? Very contradicting wouldn't you say?

In fact from my recent research your the first to complain about shipping (and this is going through hundreds of posts).

Here is some advice. Stop drinking the Apple cool aid. Not everything is perfect in Apple land. :(

Can someone tell me how to test for all these problems on my iMac? My i7 seems perfect so far though.

Man you got to read my posts. Go back and read them, and see that you are getting worked up over miscommunication.

1. I said I have been researching iMacs...not the shipping thing. That is why it hasn't come up for me.
2. You are the first one TO ME who has complained. Of course I am sure there are others who have started posts, but I have not come across them personally.
3. It's alzheimer's. And that is not a nice thing to say. It is a horrible degenerative disease with no cure.
4. Go back and read my post before you assume I have been drinking any sort of apple cool-aid. I'd say stop taking your frustrations out on me, when I was just saying what I have observed.

Seriously though I think we all need to take breather and realize that we all have the same frustrations over Apple's quality control on products we really care a lot about.

Relax. I am joking on the Alzheimer's.Sorry to offend you.

I agree, apple has me #issed to no end.I misunderstood you. Apple has put me through he'll literally over the past month. Cost me thousands in lost revenue and time I will never get back. Never.

I considering if I want not only to switch over completely from OSX to Windows for work put the virus thing is stopping me. I can keep my computers safe but what about my workers?

I will still use it for work but as far as home PC it's Windows all the way, hello blue ray, tv tuner, WMC, and a screen with no issues.

I really hate Apple for making me hate Apple. If that makes any sense?

I hear you man, the backlight bleed was common two years ago. They blew up over the iphone antenna issue and not the imac issues.
