if you happen to download the 'cracked' version thats what we get for piracy so i went along and purchased the tweak and its working awesome now.

True.. My friend actually fixed the cracked version for me.. Im new to JB but he explained it and i bought it immediately :)

Didn't want to start a thread.

Does anyone know if there's a Cydia tweak to toggle between 2G/3G/4G?

iOS 8.1 itself lets you toggle between 3G and 4G but not 2G. Where I live there's no 4G signal and crap 3G but full 2G.

And I just waste battery whilst it constantly looks for a 2G so am looking for a tweak that lets me toggle between the three.

No clue if there's a working one this early in the JB. Either wait for one to be made or someone here will know if there is one. Still 2G is rough

2G is perfectly fine for calls and text and generally I have a full signal with 2G. In my area 4G is non existent and 3G is patchy so I usually just use 2G to save battery and switch 3G on when needed.

If I don't my battery drains because it's constantly searching for a signal.

What carrier are you using in 2014 to have non existent 3G and 4G coverage?
Time to switch maybe.

Tesco UK.

The signal is fine. I very rarely use data when out and about. There's wifi hotspots everywhere so I don't need to. I use less than 100mb mobile data a month. So 2G is more than sufficient for what I want. IE calls and texts.

3G is just a battery drain. Hence me wanting to switch it off and use 2G.

I dont know mate.
2G tech is so 2006.
You cant even use data while on a call on Edge.
There's isn't any other available carrier with better coverage than that in your area? 3G is only a battery drain if signal fluctuates and phone keeps switching and searching for signal. Again that is a carrier issue and not a 3G or 4G problem.

That's why I'm asking. Signal for 3G is in and out. So I just leave 2G on as that's always a full signal.

All the other carriers are way more expensive and it's stupid to pay double for 3G when 2G does the job I want just fine.

There's excellent 4G coverage in the city centre but tesco run on the O2 network and their 3G is god awful pretty much everywhere. Always has been.

Just too add. I only got my 6 yesterday. And did a speed test whilst I was in the city centre today on 4G. And was absolutely amazed. Coming from 3G speeds of around 1mb in a city centre 4G was 22mb. I was astonished!

I see. That's pretty sweet speed right there:)
It would definitely be nice and useful to have all toggles available like easy on/off switches in ccsettings for 2G/3G/4G.
Hope they enable something like that for instances where we are in bad signal area to be able to control signal fluctuation for better battery life and to avoid constant searching and switching.

It was supposed to be enabled in 8.1 but it's not there.

And I can't find a cydia tweak for it either.

Yes, I heard about that too.
But I guess its up to individual carriers to provide those options and most don't want to.
I don't see why not allow the user to have more control of their device and decide what bands he wants to use on certain times and locations.
Hope we see a solution for it soon.

BTC Mouse & Trackpad (latest (1.6-1), officially purchased, that is, non-cracked version; not listed in the chart) works just great under iOS8, despite the description. Among other devices, I've tested it on my 8.1-based iPhone 5. It peacefully coexists and co-works with

- A2DP BT audio streaming and
- BT keyboard connection to an Apple BT keyboard (latest-gen with the two AAA batteries)

at the same time. Tested with the Logitech M-RCQ142 mouse.

I've continued testing with my other BT mice:

First-gen Apple BT mouse (the one without any scrolling / touch sensor and with one button only): OK

Apple Magic Mouse: OK, right click (as in Settings > Mouse > Seconday click under OS X) also works, but:
scrolling via touch sensor in no way works – unlike with Logitech / HP Mogo Bluetooth X54

HP Mogo Bluetooth X54 Presenter Travel Mouse: OK, scroll also works

MoGo PC Card mouse: OK

EDIT: Tests done on, in addition to the 32-bit iPhone 5, the also-32 bit iPad3 and the 64-bit rMini.

Any word on progress of Photo Organizer or is there anything similar to Photo Organizer that is already working?

I've just always used Photo Organizer but I'd try any tweak that would allow me to get my photo library sorted properly right now

I hear you the only tweak I need now is either photo organizer or photoalbums+ to be updated - or any tweak that allows me to move my 200 pictures into their folders that I have taken since I got my iphone 6 and left my j/b 5s.

Don't quote me on it, but I think BattSaver may work. You can at least contact the dev and see if it's possible with it.

Has anyone tried Push For Gmail yet? It says that it isn't updated for 8.1 yet, but I am hoping that maybe it works.

Thanks. Will download it and see.

There used to be a number of tweaks that had it. Cccontrols had a 3G toggle. But it's gone in the latest updates. There were a few others too but all have removed the option. Understandable since the majority live in areas where at least 3G is strong signal wise. But for the minoritu that don't they're a bit screwed. There's massive parts of rural UK that get zero 3G signal at all never mind 4G and I think I'm safe to say that's not the only county with that issue. So it seems strange to alienate a lot of users for the sake of including a 3G toggle.

I think FlipControlCenter has separate toggles in Control Center.

Which reminds me, anyone know if StatusTime+ works yet?

Yea date works. This is the string I'm using. E, MMM d @ h:mm a I'm just not using the free ram portion of statustime+.

Ah alright I'll give it a shot real quick.
Just installed it and it works like a charm, thanks for the help.
Any idea if BatteryDetective works?
