When I picked up the Note 4 AT&T offered me the Gear S for $99 with a dedicated number and service for the device itself.
Impressions.
This is not a smart watch. This is a VERY close to being a smart phone on your wrist.
It's very simple to use, especially after you learn the "secret" touch gestures. Looks great, is very comfortable for wear, and battery life is pretty good for this device type. The portable included battery pack to touch up your device power is a damn blessing. Throw it in the bag and you have an extra day or two of use. AWESOME!
The Swiftkey type keyboard and makes responding to text work pretty good, and notification system is adequately robust.
And then you make phone calls. Do that for a couple of days and actually using your phone almost seems offensive and primitive at times.
Needless to say, I like it and I am keeping it. Especially with it costing me only $99 after the Note 4 purchase.
