Same here grrrrrr would look good along with my Note
I wonder how good battery life is. Also pity there is no micro usb port to charge it. Samsung definitely goes in right direction !
Only thing is my carrier doesn't do it only O2 so not sure how I would pair it via 3G for example.Same here grrrrrr would look good along with my Note

Can you put your Gear S on one hand, 360 on the other, turn on S-Voice and G-Voice, and try to make them talk to each other? That would be funny as hell. And a good test of their "intelligence".
guessing you can put a pay as you go sim in without any issues?
Yeah some guys over on XDA forums are doing that. You may want to check out the forums they have a thread over there on which carriers work.
Haha, I'll have to try that experiment this weekend.
A small update to my experience. I found an app called Notifications for Gear S that the developer posted in the AC forum. This app lets you reply to Hangouts, Facebook, Whatsapp, and Gmail messages on your watch. With this app I'm really loving this watch now, the only thing I'm missing from my 360 now is the ability to control my Play Music from my watch in the car or while working out.
Can you link to that notifications app?
Sure can:

The developer just release a new version with some bug fixes, I like this app a lot now. This makes it easier to use my core apps on my watch.

One question on notifications. Do you still get the same notifications on your watch as on your phone if the two arent connected for example if your phone has bluetooth off and your phone is on wifi or just have data on? does it remember what notifcations you have connected ?

As long as I would still get the same notifications through 3G then that's good. They are always connected even if Bluetooth is off, at that point they are connected through 3g. I haven't tested it personally but I'm pretty sure I would still get notifications through that 3g link. Now if you completely disconnected them I don't think you would because the watch would act like a standalone phone with it's own phone number. I'm not sure though as I haven't tested it like that.
You get 4GBAnyone know how to check available space? I want to download several maps in HERE Navigator, but don't know how many I can expect to fit.
You get 4GB
Think I will order from o2 on contract
One tariff
Unlimited texts, 100MB on £23 a month
Unlimited texts, 1GB, £29 a month
I wonder if someone will write a special app for that use.
Honestly I don't think soIs it just me, or is Samsung's list of apps for the S woefully vaporware?
I'm not finding many of these:

Out of curiosity, is there an early termination clause? I know EU providers are vastly different than US, but that "on contract" made me buy my S outright from Verizon. There was only a $50 difference, but the "on contract" married me to the device for two years with an onerous early termination clause. This is a fast moving market segment, I don't see two years of life out of one of these devices just yet - we're very much on the early adopter spike.

Entirely TMI!
He asks a valid question though that's still not answered and that's how to check how much space is available on the Gear S.
To those interested, Kit Kat 4.4.4 for Note 3's is out. This should allow for Gear S email replies.
