For the past 11 mos, I have used my Note 3 extensively without any burn-in. Two other friends have had their Note 3s for 9 mos and no burn. All of us use our Notes a great deal. This shouldn't be an issue.
I think to most who have one it isn't.

For any of those that care about my Note 3, thought I would expand.
I had to pay the $200 since they ultimately blamed it on my screen having a hairline crack. After they repaired it today, I noticed they mentioned it was a couple things.
Problem found:
LCD DAMAGED - ABUSE - IF/CHARGING PORT - DAMAGE FWT
Solution:
REPLACED LCD - REPLACED COMPONENT
The real reason my phone wouldn't turn on was because of the charging port. Possibly because of my third party Anker battery? Either way, they blamed the fix on the LCD when that wasn't the issue at hand and why it wasn't turning on.
Ok, hold on guys, some people are telling me that the clock app has that image on the background, so it's not the burn-in (although I did see they had it on other backgrounds).
Might be a change Samsung has done on the latest update to the clock app.

If the slim bezels are true, I will buy this thing on release day.

That's freaking nuts. Who in their right mind is going to prefer an iphone?!
It is still running Android KitKat and Touchwiz, right?
There is your answer on "who in their right mind is going to prefer an iphone".
This combo is still more powerful than IOS8, so your argument is invalid. It is still running Android KitKat and Touchwiz, right?

No one was discussing power, "better than", or any of the other flaming initiatives that normally happen with the confines of this forum.
I am simply stating a ton of people prefer iOS over Android and always will meaning there is a good reason why many more people will choose the new iPhone over the Note 4.
Can't wait, 3 days to go..

A ton of people also prefer android to iOS. Probably more if you look at market share.
Not true at all. The one and only reason Android has a marketshare lead is because people in most countries can't afford an iPhone, but they can afford a lousy $50 Android phone or a FREE one for joining some random carrier. Same thing here. You can get Android phones on the cheap at Walmart and most grocery stores, its quick, easy and cheap. Not to mention there are over 4 thousand Android phones to ONE iPhone. Marketshare means nothing. I have had all three Notes and will look at the 4, but with the larger screen iPhones weeks away now, I doubt I will end up with a Note.
You can getaniphone for free and at walmart for joining some random carrier too though
I'm sure people really do have preferences for both os'
'One and only reason' is crazy when you are talking about what 80% market share?
Marketshare does not mean much, but it means something. I mean apple used to brag about it themselves you know..
Either you don't understand the thread title, can't read or just want to troll....I was not aware of that. Can you please post a link showing you can get a free iPhone at Walmart? Or anywhere for that matter. Yea, marketshare is overrated in this regard. 4 thousand Android phones to one iPhone. Thats like saying General Motors, Ford, Nissan Subaru, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Kia sold more cars than Toyota sold of the Camry. Meaningless.
