So, any tips on what to disable with package disabler pro?
I disabled all Facebook and TMO related except visual voice mail. Plus anything 3lse I don't use. I'm considering disabling ANT and beam service soon.
So I got the device with T-mobile and the one thing I notice it took a little to download tapatalk. I got 14 days to test this puppy out.
Grats, we're you on cellular? Have you done any speedtest? Device wise you won't be disappointed.
You can manually sort inside folder. If the folders in the app drawer you have to hit 'edit' first. But yeah no auto sorting once inside folders independently. :( :)
Sorry, I meant auto sort

That is low, and losing the signal inside of Target would be concerning. Next time dial "*#0011# on your dial pad to see what radio band your phone is using when you reach a place like that. Sorry your first try wasn't that good, hopefully it improves during your 14 day window. Not sure why it's so low.

Speed test was ran on the way home.

But yeah, a bit concerning when I was in target.

Perhaps I'm being capped?
Unless they changed what your capped to, I don't thinks so. When I still had unlimited and when over the cap, they slowed me down to around .5 mbs, and sometimes even slower. One of the reasons I jumped on the double data deal they had last year, 30gb ftw.

I regular get 28-40 on tmobile depending on where I am in town. I'd fun a speed test for you but I'm in the basement watching a movie.

Guess the movie? "what a lovely day!"

Ugh. Hate you all so much.

Anybody went from the s6 to the note 5? Big improvement in your life? Should I improve my life too?

Haaaaaate you allllll.

So I spent my first full day with the Note 5 today. I went hiking with my sister for a couple of hours. Google Maps was used alot, I also took photos, instagramed, twitter etc. Throughout the day i watched a couple of YouTube video, played music, read the forums etc. I have to say this is the first Android phone I've had such great battery life with.

@HiDEF I'm at about 18gb after installing all my apps. I think I'll be fine since I rarely play games on my phone anymore. That's what my 3DS is for. Music is mostly in the cloud except for my favorite albums which are on the device. And ever since I used the Nexus 6 with the Google Photos app, I've made it a habit to upload the photos and video I take to the cloud every week. I only keep a select few on my phone now.

Here's TMO in SF at my GF's apartment. Not the greatest signal in the area.

I'll show my signal at my house when I'm home on Mon.

I'm impressed by how narrow they made the note 5. Really makes the device more accessible to the normal user. Along with the latest results in battery life, I think this was a right call for Samsung to make in terms of design vs removable battery.

The lack of a 128gb still baffles me though. If you're going to lose micro SD, at least offer a 128gb option.

Anyway, fighting the temptation for now. When the prices start to drop it might be impossible to resist.

Hopefully that will help folks in those areas.

Yes, the lack of 128gb is baffling but the poor sales of S6/Edge 128gb probably lead to their decision. Of course not many would spend 1k+ back then.

They probably were thinking it's not worth offering that model again and not be able to sell them and didn't want to take the chance again. That's my thought on why it's being not offered. Of course, I could be wrong.

If these were the prices below, would you get the 128gb? I know I probably would of. 879.99 looks way better than 1k+.

TMO N5 32GB 699.99
TMO N5 64GB 779.99
TMO N5 128GB 879.99 (pure guess on pricing if they were available)
