They have some on the google market, but most require payment. I'm assuming I'm looking at the same ones. Edge screen, applocker, people edge, screen off memo, gearfit pc control, etc.
Thanks. It should be official, I got it at best buy about 2 years ago. At the time it was the fastest they offered, but haven't used it for 4k yet, never used 4k on my Note 4, my HTC One couldn't do 4k, and my Note 5 has no micro SD card. I figured it should be able to, but the 1 rating threw me off and wasn't sure.
Are accidental palm presses ever an issue with the new Edge?

Agreed...i also think the bezels could be put to good use like top and bottom speakers on the 6s+ or recents and back capacitive buttons on the bottom.Yay, i'm not the only one who isn't in on the bezel hate train on tech forumsA bit of bezel is needed for good usability IMO, especially when there is no good accidental touch rejection on the edges (-> most Android devices i think). The iPhone Plus should shrink a bit, but bezel-less is not necessarily the best solution, even if it looks great.

I didn't have ANY the first couple days. Maybe I was just cautious. But lately I have had a few.
I like bezels when they have nice stereo speakers in them. YOU HEAR THAT HTC??? Oh wait, you can't because you moved to one crappy bottom speaker.
It's because of the viewing angles. If you look at your screen from the side you'll see a green tint through out the entire screen. So because the screen on the edges is curved, your seeing it from the side which gives it that tint. Some screen will be better than others, but all will show some sort of distortion. It's most noticeable on white.
Yeah I'd LOVE to see stereo speakers in the top/bottom bezels, but I think that would make them larger. Looking at the google phone variants with it, the bezels seem pretty huge. I think I'd like to see whatever technology Sharp used to make the Aquos, having the speaker and microphone incorporated into the screen so you have no bezel, and hopefully fingerprint sensors on screen come out soon.
The 6P has them and the bezels are smaller than the 6s+. I am not a fan of the screen ration on the sharp aquos. It would make it harder to hold imho
Anyone want to go in with me for a half price phone? I'll jump for $400. I could also just sell one I guess, but seems like effort.

Yeah, interesting question. I'd like to know more, too.
ATT's BOGO for the S7 is a monthly rebate, which sucks, but it means the person will have to keep the line.
Checked out Reddit, someone posted this from a rep:

Anything has smaller bezels than the 6s+ lol. It still surprises me how much bigger the bezels are on the 6p versus its predecessor the Nexus 6, it's like they went backwards, resulting in the 6p being exactly as tall as the 6, but with a .3" smaller screen.

It's a bigger phone for sure...but a better one too. Build speakers performance all better on the 6P.

So I got the edge on JOD. I could theoretically get the second phone, on a new line, on eip? Get the prepaid MasterCard or whatever, and pay off the second phone and cancel the line? Boom free phone?

Wierdly i'm having more than i did on my other edge devices also. I'm finding people edge sometimes triggering the wrong thing and in particular i am finding quite a few misses when using keyboard.
6p was the first Android device I've had that didn't lag during this.
Yeah my 6P's (I've had 3 total so set them up a number of times) and my Moto X Force didn't either. Its why it was more noticeable when setting up the S7 edge. Thankfully its all smooth now, plus ive disabled a lot of things like briefing etc... But yeah it was a noticeable difference at setup all the same.
ATT can go kick rocks. I left vzw for them when the iPhone came out and been with them since. I just ported my 4 lines back to after 8 years.
They've completely abandoned their mobile customers for what they think will be greener pastures. People are cutting cable, not embracing it.
