Agreed - there's nothing wrong with it but, personally, I wouldn't do it. Different situations and relationships call for different handling of such situations, but I'm always going to be very selective about who I sleep with, especially my first time. I wouldn't sleep with someone who I met at a club, I'd have to get to know them first and feel a deep connection to them, etc.

And I should add that I am typing this on a brand spankin' new 15" PowerBook. I have a dual monitor setup with my old monitor, it's really nice :D.

Congrats Em - nice new computers huh. I love mine *hugs iBook G4 in siggy*. My PC Teacher even likes them and he said over the summer (about the Macs), waste of money.
 
I just noticed something. I eat WAY to freaking much. On my desk at this moment, I have two Raisen Bagels covered in Butter, Cheese-Its, Sunflower Seeds, Salt-n-Vingear Chips, and A Burito/Taco thing. Not to mention I've drank about half a gallon of tea since I've been home. (Little over an hour ago) So, yeah, anyone got any good diets to go on. I'ma be a balooon if I keep eating like this. :confused: :eek: :eek:

I did this for two months after a back injury in my early twenties and last 30 pounds: http://www.naturalways.com/master-cleanser.htm

Well, I don't wanna lose weight. I'm only about 140 pounds as it is. I just wanna better diet to where I don't eat THAT much. Which, it sounds simple, "just stop eating so much", but I tried a good bit of months ago, and I'm still eating too much.

I'm eating less lately. I like, keep eating and I'm making myself sick because I used to eat more than what I do now so its like WTF? Wow so strange.

The two of you might just be going through a "phase" or are in different places right now regarding various things. It's not uncommon in long-term relationships.

Money is always a very touchy subject in any relationship, and if left to fester can lead to problems down the line. So, you're right to want to deal with it now.

Counseling is a great idea. I was always reluctant to see a "relationship counselor," but, a few years ago my partner and I were at odds all the time, so, he finally convinced me to see a counselor together, and I'm glad he did because it helped a lot.

Years ago we both read a book called "The Male Couple," which was about a small study done of male couples in various stages of their relationship, from 1 month to 50 years. It provided a lot of very good insight that really helped both of us through the bumpy patches. The book is out of print now, but, was very helpful in pointing out the differences between a gay, male couple and a hetero couple. I can honestly say that without that book, I doubt we would have celebrated our 19th anniversary this past summer.

Also, some time apart from each other might put a fresh perspective on things as well. As they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder! :)

Just got off the phone with Natey. He found some stuff he wasn't supposed to on his friends' mom/mom's boyfriend's computer, and has been "counseling" them ever since. Poor natey.

I'm also in an audio conference with a friend, helping him out with some math homework. Fun. :)
