Big difference of battery life with 3G versions compared to BT/Wifi versions.
Yeah, never tried the Wi-Fi s2, but my Apple watch i can sometimes get 2 full days. This lasts me the day, so its not a deal breaker. Favorite fearure is I get phone calls from both my numbers, so i can truly leave both phones at home and still receive my messages and calls.

I'm waiting for the moment when you can have cellular connectivity on the watch and don't need two numbers. It's was rumored that the Apple Watch 2 will have that, but now looks like that's not the case.

Oh, and incase you have a Note 7. Samsung Pay update works now.

That's a great feature but as said earlier the 3g kills the battery, turn it off if possible and get 3 days..

Yeah, i know i could get much better battery if i turn off 3g, but then i wouldnt receive calls from my iPhone number and I would need to be connected to my Note, kinda defeats the purpose of getting the 3g model. 1 day is good enough for me right now as long as i get those features.

Bizarrely you can't buy it, only watch. It does seem a bit suspect tbh. Far too cheap.

Hmm. it gives me the option to buy it. It says it's a manufacturer refurbed unit which has a tendency to lower the price quite a bit. I recently got a refurbed Nexus 6 for super cheap off on of these eBay deals and have had great luck with it! I also just ordered a refurbed Nexus 6p from Best Buy yesterday for ~$350 with tax.

but I'm not familiar with this eBay seller but was tempted to get this to try it out. I will likely get a Note 7 as my work phone in a couple of months so it'd be nice to have a watch to go with it.

EDIT: looks like it is the Verizon version thus the 3G version... hmm not bad! very tempted...

Hold down the back button. It will prompt you to check your phone, your phone will take you to the install page.

I'm not sure on this. But you might need to have Samsun Pay active on the phone first.

I have Samsung Pay set up on my phone. I hold the back button on my gear but nothing happens.

Go to settings/connections/NFC/ and click Tap and Pay. Of course turn NFC on if it's not already. You should see Samsung pay in the list.

I don't remember how I got Samsung Pay on my watch. Is your Gear firmware and Gear app updated to the latest version?
[doublepost=1472148706][/doublepost]

Also, are you on BT with your Samsung Phone? I know you said you use it as a stand alone.
Yeah, it's connected right now and I have checked for updates and it says I'm on the latest.

Just spoke with the samsung rep at best buy, and he told me it isn't available yet on the at&t model, only Wi-Fi and Verizon. Apparently they were having problems with at&t number sync so it's been delayed.

Does the S2 have a always on screen on the regular one (non classic model)? The Samsung guy at Best Buy said it did not offer it nor can you wear in in the shower, etc like I did with my Apple Watch. I have a Huawai Android watch that I used with my iPhone so that's my dressy smart watch, figured the S2 can be my everyday one. Since I bought the Note 7, I was tempted to get it.

Fit 2 is amazing – except software. But it weighs nothing, the screen is amazing and my battery dropped 22% in 13 hours. I want a phone with battery like that!

Wish I could copy playlists to Fit 2... but I guess it can't do too much as people wouldn't look at S2/S3 twice ;)
I really prefer the Fit 2 design to all other smartwatches, at least in principle. That rectangular screen feels so much more state of the art than all these watches that for some reason think they have to look like traditional watches, and compared to the Apple Watch screen too since it's so small. I'd really love to have a proper smart watch with the Fit 2 style of screen. If only the S3 came out looking like that...
