You have the iPhone 13 you are wondering if you should get the iPhone 14 ..... :)

Lets go back to 2017-2018 iPhone 8 Plus & iPhone X

iPhone X was the new era of Apples phones the new designs for anything after was going to be the NOTCH ..

18 iPhone X (LAUNCH - September 22nd, 2017) - NEW NOTCH ....

19 iPhone XR (LAUNCH - September 21st, 2018)
20 iPhone XS (LAUNCH - September 21st, 2018)
21 iPhone XS Max (LAUNCH - September 21st, 2018)

22 iPhone 11 (LAUNCH - September 20th, 2019)
23 iPhone 11 Pro (LAUNCH - September 20th, 2019)
24 iPhone 11 Pro Max (LAUNCH - September 20th, 2019)

25 iPhone SE (2nd generation) (LAUNCH - April 15th, 2020)
26 iPhone 12 mini (LAUNCH - October 13th, 2020)
27 iPhone 12 (LAUNCH - October 13th, 2020)
28 iPhone 12 Pro (LAUNCH - October 13th, 2020)
29 iPhone 12 Pro Max (LAUNCH - October 13th, 2020)

30 iPhone 13 mini (LAUNCH - September 24th, 2021)
31 iPhone 13 (LAUNCH - September 24th, 2021)
32 iPhone 13 Pro (LAUNCH - September 24th, 2021)

33 iPhone 13 Pro Max (LAUNCH - September 24th, 2021) - SMALLER NOTH

IPHONE 14 - NO NOTCH ....

Okay you see my point the 14 WILL SET A NEW STANDARD. People who have the 8 Plus or Orignal iPhone design like the SE its not accepted in society. Its "Old" "dated" tech ..............

The iPhone 14 has no notch and the 15 - 16 - 17 that will be the new standard exactly like the data I have added together states

SO .......

YOUR iPHONE 13 WILL BE OUTDATED DESIGN AND TECH As s00N AS THE 14 DROPS ........................

So yes you should get the 14 the 15 and 16 no need same design different insides

My Super amazing apple 14 data thread .... https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...or-changes-relating-to-the-iphone-14.2313936/

Clever marketing on Apples part.
Since the majority of iPhone users are anti-notch, this will spur them into upgrading without any other justification necessary! 😀

Known fact right here. Many a time has somebody been rejected by a partner or from a job application from simply flashing an iPhone 8 after the X was released. /S

I think I'll just continue paying off my iPhone 11 Pro Max first. In about two years or so maybe I'll get the 16 or 17.

In the meantime I will continue to enjoy my 11PM, my 6s+, my 5, my 4S, my 4 and my 3GS…and my Pixel 3a XL and my HTC Touch Pro.

Next you'll tell me I need to get rid of my 6th gen iPad. SMH.

How about keeping your 13 for its usable life and saving the money you would waste by upgrading a perfectly good phone, one which will be still be usable for years. Your consumerism is putting you in debt by robing you of wealth accumulation.

I had the 8 plus for 5 years from getting the 13 Pro Max I saw how every year the technology just changes only apple can stop this now

Yes you keep paying off the phone ! Great decision. But like no need to get the 14 just when I had the 8 and fast forward 5 years everyone has the "New Shape" it's sort of outdated design in society

Good point!
I got my 13 pro at Walmart on a black friday sale, and that made a the phone a $700 purchase + $300 Walmart gift card.
Not that I'm necessarily thinking about it right, but if a new offer includes a $700-$750 trade in for it, then..................

The annual outdate posts I enjoy reading on this site. As long as my devices are still capable to handle the tasks I expect them to be able to, they are not outdated to me.

Better than Samdung 👁️
Not sure if its better than the punch out.

The warning android gives you when accepting face ID is a bit strange (not as secure as fingerprint, a photo of yourself might break it) is a bit disconcerting. Apple has the more secure variant of face identification but the majority has been annoyed at the notch at the same time.

Apple has the more secure variant and if they can hide the hardware they will be victorious. If they can't the Android variant with full screen/hidden cameras might win the war.
