I had downloaded the app when it first came out, but only started using it since it has geotagging capabilities. However, when I shot a video yesterday, it kept using my current location. I killed the app, killed all other apps to make sure, restarted my phone, but I still had the purple arrow (yes, even after I restarted my phone). Only after I stopped allowing it to use my location, the arrow would disappear...

There is a glitch in iOS that causes the purple arrow to appear even if it's not using the location. This normally happens when you force-quit an app, but in rare cases it will happen even if you close it normally. To make sure it's not using location, turn off "Geotagging" in Camera Prime settings, and it WILL turn off all location services. I wish I could fix it, but this is a bug on apple's part =/

I pressed the home button while in video shooting mode (not recording), geotagging on. Thanks for the clarification anyway!

If you can find a way to replicate this glitch continuously, please tell me! That way I can see if there's anything I can do after all :)

I think I'll buy this app to replace my Camera+ since it looks like that's a dead project. I was hoping it would come again to had the HDR feature and use of flash, but...

You have pretty much what I'm looking for: The standard Camera app with gridlines and no "processing" software. Can you tell me if your app takes advantage of the iPhone 4's flash and if has a "stabilizer" feature?

Edit: Nevermind, the app has them (read the review, lol)

Bought.

As was previously mentioned, lifeinlofi.com has begun their giveaway of Camera Prime. If you want a chance to win, you might want to pay the site a visit :)

iSkythe, could you break down how many people buy this app for the iphone and how many for the Touch 4G? TIA! I'm planning on buying the Touch and I'm wondering is this app will be useful on it, seeing as the full features of the iPhone cameras are not present on the Touch (flash etc.).

With the current setup there is no way to be able to tell how many of each devices have bought the app. Unfortunately, right now it doesn't seem to be working well on iPod Touches, though an update should be out soon to address this problem :)
