General Glasklart HD for iOS 5+

The trouble is that themes and tweaks get pirated so often that sometimes developers just stop updating them all together because they make so little off of their work.
 
Where is the most recent package available? I can't remember what the new cydia repo for glasklart is?
 
Has this happened to anyone else (not the black icons, as there's a fix for that, but the stock icons that have been left default)?

Happened to me, had to SSH in to dig up some of the icon name changes. Thanks apple for that.

Download, unrar it, and drop it in your var\private\stash\themez.xxx\ folder. Then activate it in Winterboard.

This was updated for iOS 5.0.1 so it probably will not work anymore. I haven't tried it myself.

It's easy to solve, just tedious.

Download SBSettings, and OpenSSH to your device.
SBSettings: click More/App Folders. Click on the Mail, for example, to see that it's located at: /Applications/MobileMail.app

Now go to that folder to see what Apple has renamed the icon to, in this case there are several options, but go with Icon@2x.png for iPhone and that's case sensitive.

You also need to know the bundle identifier, which will be where the icon exists on Glasklart theme. /Library/Themes/Glasklart HD Icons.theme/Bundles/com.apple.mobilemail You can find that info in the Info.plst file.

Go to the theme folder and rename the icon to match the new naming convention, then refresh the theme with Winterboard and that's it.
 
Can't believe that this app hasn't even been looked at even though it's been out for a year it's called logosquiz the icon has 4 different colors divided ( sorry I couldn't type the (uncopyable) URL of the icon and I didn't want to install the flikr app for this ****. If you don't know or cant find it give a blank PNG PLEASE NOT A ****ING PSD so I can use it as a backup

Hi.

I have looked through to see if I can find any information on getting my WhatsApp icon working and everything I have found and tried has not worked.

My icon is currently showing a blank white square and I have no idea how to get the Glasklart HD icon showing?

Can anyone help? It would be greatly appreciated! It's the last icon I need!

Is MacThemes still suspending new registrations? Just curious.

BTW... I have made quite a few contributions to the Glasklart HD thread over there. I see a bunch of stuff I made/ported/combined etc. that has made it over to the thread. :)

To anyone having trouble should really just read the first page of the official GK HD thread which explains how everything works. Its actually very simple.

What has changed in 5.1.1 that is not theming? I'm still on 5.0.1 but if anything has changed with 5.1.1, a few simple file name changes would fix it.

I can post my complete GK HD 5.0.1 version if anyone needs it.
 
Has someone made a icon bundle with all the icons that can just be downloaded and put into the themes folder?? Or would the bundle be way too big? It just seems easier to do that because I have a ton of unthemed icons

It was much too untenable to keep using the MacThemes forum due to the fact that Glasklart has the largest custom icon set of any iPhone theme. We're working hard to get 100% iOS 5 compatibility out of the box and to get the most popular apps working immediately on installation.

If you're interested in Glasklart and especially if you're interested in contributing, please read the README on that page.

We're in dire need of icons but even more so in need of talented designers to skin some of the unskinned UI elements (phone dialer, calculator, notification center, etc)

You should implement the fix for black icons on the theme...

Create a 1 byte file named AppIconMask@2x~iphone.png (and -72~ipad) in com.apple.mobileicons.framework. That fixes the problem.

Here is a link with the fix included in the Icons theme (only the fix is included in that folder), and a badge theme that I use, I dont really remember who the creator is, but I found that somewhere in the old thread in macthemes forum.

As design inconsistencies bother the hell out of me, I decided to slightly modify the theme, to support Siri, notification center, and a few extras.

DOWNSIDEUP This is freaking incredible. I'm going to work on getting this integrated into Glasklart. Would you be alright with me modifying the blue background image? I think we're going to try to go with something a bit darker and monochromatic to fit with people's custom backgrounds a bit better.
