the link redirects to the app store and at the moment is showing no updates available, for me at least.
Build number 15A282b. Requires code for MAS and complete re-download. Mine is 6.07GB
You can waste your time now, or you can waste your time then. The end result will be the same.I always do a clean install on new OS systems. Deciding whether to do it now or after the official release, even though I guess the software will be the same...
So what does this mean? - Would this show as 'purchased' once the official release date has passed?

Look at the OP.Can anyone confirm the build number of the downloaded package?
so it wont appear in the updates page if I don't do anything, like all the beta updtaes did? I have to redownload the whole thing.
I meant of the downloaded file, not the number listed on the dev site. The dev betas all required you to download the first beta then incrementally upgrade.Look at the OP.
I guess they've pulled it. BTW, downloaded filename is 'Install OS X El Capitan Developer Beta.app,' it shouldn't have beta for a GM right?
