You just want everything else out there to die, don't you.

I know, the iPhone has a perfectly precision-crafted aluminum and glass case, people return them because the home button has a 0.00002mm gap on the left side. Make no mistake, Apple and Google are just as evil as each other, but Google does appear to have somewhat more respect for people that want to make their own stuff in their garage. I mean, Steve Jobs is such a hypocrite..

Then again, he always was. He has the true American personality of hating himself. Just like most people are so ashamed of and dismiss their 'lack of' culture here. Nice.

Really though, there's nothing interesting to me about an app store that has 8235892358235 fart apps that rejects interesting and sometimes innovative stuff that they later end up copying anyway.

Because advertising is a lucrative business, and the product is the simplest yet:

You.

Have you chosen to ignore my question below or are you unable to give an answer?

LTD, I've barely put my Xoom down since buying it for casual computing. It has singlehandedly changed the way I consume my media, communicate with friends and how I browse the internet.

What exactly am I missing by not using an iPad over the Xoom in my hands now?

I am still waiting for a classic *LTD* response to my list of problem with iOS. If you notices you provide a logical argument against him he will complete pass it over if there is no ill logical one he can throw back at it.

Lot of talk from folks with little to no experience with the technology. I have both a Xoom and an iPad2...purchased by my employer because of my line of work. I've switched to the Xoom, because I'm a gadget junkie. Simple fact is Honeycomb and many Android apps are very, very, very rough right now (force closes, crashes, etc). Anyone who tells you differently is full of it. But I remember early iOS versions being less than ideal too. Honeycomb is a baby compared to iOS.

I believe Honeycomb has lots of potential and I think I will ultimately prefer it to iOS. I can live with it's rough edges because I'm a tech junkie. But in almost every case when I'm asked to recommend a tablet I still say iPad2. Not only because iOS is much more polished, but (despite raw numbers) there are sooooo many more polished, usable tablet apps in the iTunes store.

Bottom line, iOS/iPad today, but if you underestimate Google moving forward you would be quite unwise.

I pay attention to trends and forces that drive the market. Apple drives the market. Even with iOS' flaws, iDevices as a complete package (hardware + OS) are currently the highest and best iteration of mobile devices.

Your own personal assessment is interesting, but at best anecdotal.

So you have nothing for me then despite asking twice?

I actually enjoy your posts but your inability to back up what you say when asked a simple question does make me doubt your intentions for discussion.

Such a shame.

Congratulations on your new Xoom. I hope you enjoy it and get plenty of use out of it.

Thanks LTD. I'm sure I will.

As long as it runs Tiny Wings, it's all good. ;)

So addictive.

Tiny Wings is my game of the moment. Lots of fun! :(

No TW for the Xoom tho but it does have Dillo Hills which is a Tiny Wings clone. Just bought Battleheart iOS port for the Xoom tho. Time to play!
