Both cameras are good, the Pixel focuses fast as hell. Having played with the original Pixel in Best Buy a few months ago, the camera was insane then, I can only imagine what it's like now. All I did was pick the phone up, launch the camera, pressed and held the shoot button just to test how long it would take to focus/process/reload while moving from side to side.
Not one bad photo. May go to the Apple store and try that same test on the 8+ see what the results are.
