Yeah 3 apps at once is a must just as an option. It's there to multitask.

besides google 45w charger what other brand i can use for full charging speeds ? i have Samsung 45W but i think it's not support it.
This was a concern of mine so thanks for figuring it out. It looks much lower than I would’ve expected, especially considering the original Pixel Fold’s location was more centrally located, if not actually slightly above center.
I have some of that fancy magnet paper like MKBHD uses, was hoping it would help with magnetic ring placement but doesn’t help locate the induction coil on its own.
IIRC, even though Google is pairing it with their 45W charger, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold actually tops out at only 27W.
I use my Anker charger that I've used for my 15PM, Pixel Fold and S24U and it charges as it should; zero issues
Fast charing wired; charges normally wirelessly
Anyone else in the UK not able to get direct my call working? It's just sits "activating" in the settings.
It works for me, try force closingthe phone app and reopening, or restarting
Done that plus everything combined on Google and Reddit and nothing works lol.
Edit: After all that I just uninstalled the phone app updates then reinstalled them and all the settings activated immediately lol
Got the Fold 9 today, haven’t set it up and played with it yet but first impression is that it feels awesome in the hand. Slim and good weight distribution. Feels much better than the Fold 6 and iPhone 15 PM. Only have used a Fold 4-6 as a foldable before. Looking forward to this one.

I put in a order for Pro XL 256GB in Hazel. I decided to keep my fold and get a 2nd phone.
Man battery life on the P9XL is amazing for me so far! Yesterday was a heavy day of use. I ended the day around 9PM with 25% left and at 6.75 SOT. I am more than happy

Well sadly, these are consecutive events and the meeting is for my son’s high school lacrosse team and I actually want to attend it.
Just telling myself it’s a little delayed gratification.
Alright, finally have some time to set up the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Quick initial impressions:
- What a beautiful device...love the changes Google made. Feel so nice in the hand, much improved layout/bezel on the interior screen, super thin but feels very solid.
- The setup process very closely now resembles the setup for iPhone...and I love it. So much more seamless. Apple's process is great and glad to see it copied here.
- With just some initial usage setting up apps and such and it feels very quick and snappy.
I absolutely agree. We're all different and react in different ways to such things. I find it incongruous to have rounded and squared corners on different sides. Call it what you will, OCD, whatever, but it is probably the thing that put me off the fold more than anything else.
I didn't really notice it until seeing the Porcelain colour but it does look a bit off with the hinge side.

Returned my 9 Pro XL on Saturday at a local drop off point. It was scanned and off it went.
Full refund received today money back in account.
