Posted this in the iOS 18.1 beta thread too: Been too busy to even unbox my Pixel yet. I am interested in how the iOS 18.1 Clean Up compares to the Pixel's Magic Eraser if anyone has had a chance to play with both, please share.

Screen protectors ended up being junk so got a refund from Amazon. Will have to order some different ones. 😅

Went on faultlessly

I like the ones with the dust removal sheet built in, usually get Torras but they don't do any for the Pixel so rolled the dice on a random brand that looked similar, ended up being trash.
Do the Spigen ..trust me the easiest best IMO use them on every phone

I've used them before and for the life of me can't get them to go on without dust getting under there, tried for the best part of a decade.
Wow really the key is lots of dust removal tapping screen after cleaning .. I'm at 100% success now with these bad boys

Anyone know how to activate the 12 months of Gemini plan? I've tried everything online but my Google One account just shows paid options and I all ready pay for the 2TB plan.

I think I don't get it because I bought after pre-order, that sucks.

EDIT: Ahh it's Pro phones only, rubbish.

Keep protector upside down at all times, peel off protective layer from underneath else adhesive catches all falling dust...

My Spigen went on first time, and I have 2 golden retrievers who shed from Jan to Dec so lots of dander.

Do this exact same thing and always still ends up with dust. 😂

Guys, easy to manage dust while doing screen protector - do it in humid environment - eg bathroom, just run a hit water for a while, than apply screen protector - humidity keeps all dust out of air for a while
Or just move to North Carolina. I swear I lost three pounds in water weight just changing a flat the other day.

Took some photos at the Pearl Jam show last night. We were sitting 3 rows behind the 3rd base dugout, but still very far from the stage + behind all the GA and field seats. These are zoomed in using the telephoto lens, looks pretty great all things considered, no zoom enhance. I tried zoom enhance on another one that I deleted, it struggles with human faces from a distance and made Eddie look like he has no face 😂 actually creepy.

Which ones did you try? I originally tried LK and returned them. I've had Spigen on order for a week now but they were backordered. Should arrive in a few more days though.
It was these:
WSKEN for Google Pixel 9/9 Pro Screen Protector - [Auto-Dust Removal] Support Fingerprint Unlock, Bubble Free Full Coverage HD Tempered Glass Film with Dust Clean Installing House, 2 Pack https://amzn.eu/d/hEV5oII

The bubbles wouldn't push out along the edges and even with the alignment tray it was way too far over to the left.

I think we are better off sending you to an expert installer

Is the finger print scanner working perfectly as that of on the device screen? There are some noises around FPS not working properly with glass SP.

I am upping to GP9PF again as couldn't stand the screen brightness from GPF.

I'm the last person to talk to since I never have issues with fingerprint sensors lol I guess my computer fingers and lack of manual labor over the years has treated them well.. I'm having no issues with the sensor after install and just for extra measure redid the fingerprints. Is the fold on the screen?

If I have to reinstall a screen protector; I wipe it down thoroughly and then have it off the flat surface on something else (like the phone box). I keep gently blowing on it to remove any dust particles I can see and then very quickly, remove the film off the protector and then lay it on to the screen ASAP

I won't do this until I can see that the screen is absolutely spotless

It can be bit of a faff; but it works and works well

I never use the dust stickers as they create static I've found!

Yah, likely.
I am quite fed up with current GPF as FPS is on power button and it does not interact smoothly even after scanned both left and right fingers and thumb.

Quite silly of me to upgrade a year old phone but the screen brightness really sucks on first gen fold.

I don't think it's silly at all I think there's some good improvements on this version and if I wasn't going to give the Samsung ZF6 a go this year I would've upgraded same as you. I like the fingerprint sensor on the power button That's what I'm using now on the ZF6.
