Sounds like you'll love Android Q. I'd get on that beta in a couple weeks.
I don't like the idea of putting beta software on my phone. Because if it's buggy, it's a major hassle to go back.

I'll give it a few days but can't see me keeping the Pixel.

I think Apple is a 10 of 10 and would rate the Pixels a 6 out of 10. You?

They just feel like a vibrate vs the tap on Apple devices. (to me) It's one of the things I miss the most using an Android device as silly as rhay seems.

Compared to Apple's haptic it still can't compete. But compared to every other Android, and particularly the 3a, the Pixel 3's is by far and away better than everything else out there.

So I just got my Pixel 3a. And my first impression is that the software is a nice breath of fresh air coming from Samsung. On the flip side, it just seems like such a step down from the S10+ in regards to hardware. We'll see how this goes. Gonna switch my sim card to the Pixel for a few days and then decide which one to keep.

Well, I now have a 3a XL along with my 3a. Trying to decide which one to keep and which one to sell. I like the 3a size, but I type better on the XL. Anxious to see how the battery is. I've been very happy with the 3a.

Maybe, lol. I have a buddy that wants the XL if I sell it. I'm still not 100%, but figured I'd see what interest is out there for the 3a. No wrong choices, both are really good phones and inexpensive enough that I don't feel bad having an iPhone too.

Normally I go back and forth between the two OS's and sell the one I'm not using. This time, I'll keep both.

So true. I just got the regular 3a and I will say that it's so nice not to have trouble reaching the top corners.

Very interesting first day with the 3a. I'm both underwhelmed and head over heels with this device. I really appreciate how tight the OS is. As amazing as the S10+ is, I don't miss the annoyances of the device. Like volume limit warnings, for example. The Pixel 3a is simple but gets it done.

My 2 main gripes are that I really miss wireless charging but can get around that. And 64gb storage, while enough makes me actually have to think about storage.

Get a Pixel 3. :p

More premium, wireless charging and more storage. Problem solved. :D

Actually though, if I were to base my decision on cost difference alone, it's what $749 for a Pixel 3 128gb? Not sure that the extra storage and wireless charging is work $350.

Quite happy with the battery on the 3a XL. Nearly 5 hours SOT and 46 hours since I charged it and still got 28% left. I see what people mean about the screen not being bright enough in the sun. Feel disappointed I’m probably going to send it back.

That'll be my test as I'm going to be outside a lot this weekend. Right now I'm about 50/50 between keeping this or my S10+.

I haven't tried mine outside on auto brightness. I know some phones get brighter using that method. Not sure if the Pixel is one.
Mine is set to auto and when I’ve been outside where it’s even a little bright, it’s always gone up to max and still not great.

I've heard the max on auto is brighter than manual max. (For some phones) I need to try that and see if it looks any different.

Yeah, just a tough one here. Almost fully into my first day with the device. I really have no complaints about it at all. Sure I wish it had wireless charging, but this is a really good $400 device.

The only issue I really have, and this is a big one, is that I already miss my S10+. The screen just blows this one away. I'm not crazy about its camera but it is good enough.

Gonna give it some more thought but I think I'm going to return this device and pop the ole sim back in the S10+ and say "No harm, no foul" with this little experiment.

I'm just the king of indecision lately. After going back to my Galaxy S10+ today, I'm really missing the form factor of the regular Pixel 3a. I'm thinking that most likely the regular Pixel 3 is still the best one for me because I want wireless charging but not so far on this whole returning this device yet.
