I think the screen on my 3a is better than the 3 I owned. However, I think the 3XL that I owned had a better screen than both my 3a and 3.

As far as camera, I cannot do a side by side comparison, because I no longer have the XL. But, the pics are great and I haven't once thought the output was anything less than what I expected out of my 3XL.

Omgggg. Your puppy?!
Absolutely gorgeous.

Question for all, coming from the S10+, obviously I'm giving up a lot of "features", cool bells and whistles and an amazing screen. Has anyone else gotten the 3a from an S10+ or comparable device? Obviously I'm going to give it a whirl within my return window but I'm just curious on overall thoughts coming from such a "premium" device.

I certainly won't dismiss it until I've had it a few days but the lack of storage is a major drawback for me. And I think I prefer the way my P30 Pro feels to use. I miss the back swipe Huawei's have!

I go both ways on storage. Having unlimited data on my plan, I have less need to store files offline like I used to. With that said, 128gb should be an entry model moving forward for all phones.

Does the 3a have the same haptic motor as the 3, or is it just a basic vibration motor ala Samsung Galaxy? I've not found anything on this yet.

Disregard. iFixit shows it as a basic motor. Bummer.

Yup, and you can really feel the difference too compared to the 3.

It actually felt better to me. But, compared to apples haptic engine, it feels like I’m arguing the 3a is the smartest kid in summer school. I don’t think any Pixel is particularly good in this area.

I have around 10gb of music which I won't even consider reducing. But it's the amount of pics I have that I find hard not to always want with me. It's the way online storage is arranged that stops me relying on it.

Anyway, it's the camera that draws me to a phone the most and I'm looking forward to taking pics with the another Pixel which has always been my fav line for the camera.

Part of me thinks I should stick with the P30 Pro and make the most of it as it could well be the last Huawei device I buy, especially with the news about ARM today. And the other part thinks I should just sell it now and get back what I can. Plus I'll probably get a Note 10 in 3 months anyway. lol

I have the total opposite opinion on the haptics in Pixel 3.

It's easily the best haptics in an Android device I've experienced and the closest to iPhone I've found.

I'm surprised I'm not enjoying this phone as much as I expected. The P30 feels much better to use and the screen at 0.5" smaller feels a lot smaller. I'm sure full gestures would help a little because I didn't have a navigation bar on my 3 previous phones and it's such a waste of screen space to me.

Sounds like you'll love Android Q. I'd get on that beta in a couple weeks.

I think Apple is a 10 of 10 and would rate the Pixels a 6 out of 10. You?

They just feel like a vibrate vs the tap on Apple devices. (to me) It's one of the things I miss the most using an Android device as silly as rhay seems.
