Dang people.

Should I post pictures of an incase sleeve (the one that 100,000,000,000 people own) just to get some nods?

I say nice case OP. The sherpa lining looks like a great home to the mbp. I bet your case is going to get a lot of interest from people. Way to stand out from the crowd of lookalikes!

OMG I am sorry to say this but looks very ugly, make's me want to go and shave my legs, creepy, I would be embarrassed to carry this around !!!!!! :(

The one you got is in my opinion, very ugly. However, some of their bags are nice. I'll be adding one to my Christmas list :p

What's up with the hair extensions? Why not metal spikes, alien tentacles or yarn strands?

ugly jokes aside, that's why we called it the "purple people eater" :)

we have plenty of choice for all subjective tastes

and snug it is.

dirtymouse (from foof).

I want one so I can chase my kids around the house with it.:p Seriously that's one ugly cover... Love it!!!:D

This is the first thread in last 2 years, that made me laugh like crazy. First of all do not mind the frankness of everyone, but the sleeve is so ugly that I am still laughing. My 2 year old daughter would probably like it, but it is not a suitable option for MBP. Anyway, it will certainly be a funny thing to show your friends. hahahaha hahahahah ahhahahah...

Aside from the looks, I have to say the inner wool lining is actually very rough - a few months of sliding your MBP in and out of that case and it will start to look 'abraded'!!

was i the only one scared by the case? imagine stepping on the case one night...

That bag looks strange, but its wicked smart. You'll never lose your bag in a crowd.

To the OP, I think the reaction you're seeing here is due to a high concentration of computer geeks that cannot tell originality and uniqueness if it was staring them in the face. A real measurement will be the compliments you get on the bag when you use it in the real world. I love the bag. I think I may get flaming madness. Thanks for sharing.

That's ridiculous and you know it. What does hating on that bag have to do with being a computer geek? The majority of the forum are male and wouldn't be seen dead with a carrying bag like that and that's the real truth. It's not a guy's bag (although I wouldn't allow my girl in public with that thing either).

I'm surprised so many people think it looks so ugly and scary.

My wife bought the same exact case for her MacBook a year ago, and we both like it.

The laptop fits snug inside the case and it certainly won't slip out. The materials are of high quality and they do a great job of protecting the laptop.

To your MBP: I'm sorry your owner is putting you through being dressed up in that bag. :p

All kidding aside, it seems pretty functional, nice fleece type sleeve like my laptop-backpack has. No scratches so far and once in awhile it's nice to turn inside out and take a nap in class. Still though, the design reminds me of those odd people who have dogs they like to dress up, I just feel bad for 'em (the dogs). :p

Cool. That was the whole point of this thread, contrary to what other posters felt like they had to turn it into. I just wanted to share some pics in case others were interested in this style of foofbag. Mainly because I couldn't find any real pictures of it when I was searching.

I mean this in as nice a way possible, but I honestly don't care what a bunch of people on the internet think is stylish or not. Most people thought crocs were acceptable shoes, so I'm not relying on the masses for my sense of style. I buy what I like.

That's an awesome bag. Don't let anyone make you feel like you made a bad choice.:)

I certainly won't, no matter how many lame attempts at humor people post. ;)

I've gotten tons of compliments on it, so who knows. But yes, the sleeve is excellent protection, I don't have any scratches or anything on my perfect MBP. I rotate between this sleeve, an incase sleeve, and an incase sleeve bag.
