I use DreamWeaver as a glorified text editor. I hand code most of my HTML, because DreamWaver's automated code is a bit verbose, and I don't think it's very tidy.

I think any decent designer does that, I use Dreamweaver and Flash a fair bit I find the way Dreamweaver creates code and Flash does the "publish" thing is very messy for any professional web site.

I'm not a programmer but I do like things neat and tidy so if anyone else needs to edit or update it doesn't take them forever.

I'm glad that at least I'm not the only one.

Granted, my meticulous documentation does not bode well for my job security. If they fired me it wouldn't take much effort to get someone up to speed.

A double edged sword. Perhaps I need to create some undocumented backdoors...............
