Just to announce that I with the recent developer version of macOS Sierra of 10.12.4 (both release 5 and 6) my glitches are gone; those that appear on reboot and also during boot.

I took the jump and activated my dormant developer account and proceeded to either get really mad or extremely happy.
Luckily for Apple and the people around me and also on the Internet I went on to become extremely happy. Also knowing that my graphics card is doing fine.

Yay!

Crosses fingers for all you in this thread.

Thank you SO MUCH for this! I read your post and decided to try the same with my Mac Pro (Late 2013) which was displaying a pink screen on startup when connected to my Asus monitor via HDMI.

The issue is now fixed and I now have the regular black boot screen. I hope it fixes this problem for everyone else!

Fingers crossed and best of luck to all!

Hi allan.nyholm!

Thanks again for your post! I hope that the official 10.12.4 release will solve this issue for everyone.

I've just noticed that performing a PRAM reset on my Mac Pro (late 2013) causes a glitch in the form of a brief scrambled horizontal line on startup. It started as soon as I performed a PRAM reset and has remained since.

I have no idea why this is happening but I hope that these graphics issues are addressed and fixed in an update.

Have you by any chance updated macOS again since your last post?

I have instead made a rollback to the latest release of macOS Sierra 10.12.3 - I took the latest Developer release and then decided to rollback(I'm self-destructive that way). In the time I used the 7th release of 10.12.4 I did not come across any other glitches. It was Nirvana. Although I have not reset PRAM like you - only when rolling back. I reset SMC and the NVRAM(PRAM for newer Macs) when I rollback and format.

I certainly hope that your specific issue is gone with the official release 10.12.4 - no one wants a horisontal line on boot.
