I've come across this before. My friend has a Samsung S7 and he dropped it and then that exact green line appeared on his screen and it won't shift.

Think this is a common problem with a lot of OLED screens it just hasn't come out in the open. But soon as Apple is involved everyone knows about it.

I hope no other OLED issues occur.

But like other people have said. Apple will just replace you with a new one. Amazing customer service!

i think you’ll find its been “out in the open” for many years and is plastered all over tech forums and youtube. Mostly it was due to drops or hard knocks to the device. I personally had a line run down my note 4 screen that manifested when it fell from my table and only became visible some days after the fall This does not seem to be the case here though. This seems to be ribbon to motherboard malfunction imo

...It's five days since launch and there's a 3-4 week backlog on orders, there no such thing as a refurb iPhone X, they are all new. The "white box" service replacements are straight off the assembly line, they just get put into a white box instead of a retail one at the factory.

Your an Apple fanatic retard, if you believe there are no refurb IPhone X, do you believe the phones are not tested when they are assembled, the ones that don’t make it get refurbished, you think on day one not one iPhone X was returned with a problem? How about the hundreds of test units Apple sent out for testing? The white box service replacements are refurbished, they are off the assembly line, just the returned assembly line.

Yes, I exchanged mine with the new one. Haven't any issue since.
