2019 ios photoshop will not be full photoshop. But will it be "fat" enough?I think the release of a "full-fat" Photoshop in 2019 could be a game-changer for iOS as it show's other developers whats possible and may help drive others towards full-on applications rather than cut-down mobile apps.
Hardware for me is already pretty much fantastic, but there are a ton of improvements that could be made on the software side. That's why I'm holding off on a new iPad - I'm waiting to see what they do with iOS 13. That said, these two features alone would make a new iPad an instant purchase for me:
1. Pointing device support (i.e. mouse or trackpad)
2. File system access for USB devices
None of these features "require" next-gen hardware, but for me the expanded software capability would help me justify buying a new machine because I would push the hardware more through expanded use cases. To all those listing software features: I’d love new software features too, but why would any of these software features require next gen hardware? New software features have always been backward compatible at least a couple generations.

Think about it this way - I'd like a new Ferrari, but if the speed limit on all my roads is 20MPH, there's no point in me buying one. But if they suddenly made the speed limit on all my roads 100MPH, even though my current Honda can theoretically take advantage of those same speeds, I'd be able to justify my Ferrari purchase a lot more.
I understand the bending is a manufacturing issue affecting a small percentage of IPad Pro which you can return for replacement if unlucky enough to receive. I don’t believe the 2018 model is any more liable to damage than the previous versions. The only reason I haven't and won't upgrade mine and my wife's iPad Pro's this year is the durability issue. I have seen way too many posts where people have bent iPads, some admittedly their fault and others that were bent out of the box. I know that the bending is not as widespread as some would have you believe. Regardless, this version has an obvious flaw that allows them to become damaged way to easily.
iOS Pro and pro-level apps.
Hardware wise, the iPad Pro is a beast. Software wise, it is gimped.
My 11" IPP works perfectly for my needs. I don't intended on upgrading for at least 2-3 years at this point.
I don’t understand why nobody is saying “more screen resolution”. I don’t see my 11” display sharper enough for intensive reading. The display is the most important component in a Tablet, so i will change only to the nect iPad with more screen resolution

Crap screen? I have to laugh.OLED without a doubt. Have to pass on current pro that’s basically a downgrade from previous. Durability, crap screen, price increase for no reason.
Ok what’s the #1. New feature that our current 11” or 12.9” iPad Pros Don’t have that that you wish we head and you will Upgrade and get a new model just to have this one new feature?
Originally I said to myself OLED, but that has too many draw backs and I don’t wanna get a Gen 1 iPad Pro OLED Display.
I’d have to say. The ability to use My iPad Pro 11” Display as just that as a simple Display. With no iOS. Let me hookup my Nintendo Switch via USB-C or even as a second Display for my MBP.
It would just be an Optional one time Reboot option that would automatically reset itself back to iPad mode after a restart.

Not everyone wants to code on an iPad, but many developers would buy an iPad if there's an Xcode support. Bear in mind that Xcode supports multiple languages, not just Swift. It supports source code programming for C, C++, Objective-C, Objective C++, Java, AppleScript, Python, and Ruby.right...because everyone wants to code on an ipad. Puhlease

Apple has been so stupid about this. I mean, it boggles the mind. Can't they see that the emperor has no clothes? This is the ONE thing that will cause me to buy. The ONLY thing. They are being stubborn and stupid. And when they FINALLY figure out that this is needed, they will try and make us think it was their idea and is the second coming. Tiresome.Mouse
