Yea, H2o sucks. I remember when it used to be unlimited data. Then 5 GB, 2 GB, and now only a GB. And IMO it's not worth paying $60 just for unlimited talk & text. And it's slower than AT&T's 3G.

H20 absolutely sucks! I called FOUR times today because I stopped receiving text messages and people wouldn't receive mine...The first lady I talked to was an absolute bitch and told me I "texted too much" and that's why my texting feature was restricted until I was due again! I called again, this guy had no idea what I was talking about and hung up. Called again and he said I needed to jailbreak my iPhone for MMS when I said nothing about that. The FOURTH time I finally got someone who understood me and I could understand them and they still told me I texted "excessively". I guess they have the right to shut you off if they feel like you're texting or calling too much. I Have the UNLIMITED TEXT AND CALL PLAN, yet they shut me off?? This is false advertisement and is illegal. Thank you H20, heres to you running out of business.

Hey Miss Manson thats why i posted the video. People are leaving h2o real fast after they cut unlimited to 1000 text a month and no more 2G of data. try Straight talk. is abit more un conversional, but everything is unlimited just don't go over 2GB of data or you wont get flagged. :D here the video on how to do it.(plus is 45 dollars a month)

Straight talk does not run on AT&T towers(I believe) and I'm not jailbroken or unlocked. I couldn't anyways if I wanted to because I have a 4s.

Miss Manson. The phone that they mention in the video only works with AT&T so no issue you get the same AT&T 3G (faster then H2o) the bad part is that you need to buy the Nokia E71 and activate it by either getting a new number or porting your number over. Also no need to jailbreak it just unlock it by using the .NZ trick since they say all iphone would work even the 4S. Also the Nokia E71 can be purchase for 50 dollars because is refurbish.

Miss Manson this is what my friends from Howard forums say:

Hey guys I have a question. You see i have a friend that lives in Atlanta and she is an H2O customer but the problem is that she has and Iphone4S can she still do all the steps to get Straight Talk plan to work on her phone?"

"Her iPhone 4S can work on ST. But as with H2O, you need to change the APN and jailbreak if you want MMS."

"Please search this thread for my previous post about the only option to get 3g and mms on iphone 4s. Simple use an old iphone any model and jailbreak and set up for straight talk. Back up in itunes Then restore that backup to iphone 4s...3g and mms will work"
So you see you can use ST on your 4S just need to change the APN and jailbreak it and if you are scared of messing up just un jailbreak it. Theres a way to do that.

Hey guys

well I recently ran into the Straight Talk website, now they are offering a sim card bundle instead of buying the Nokia phone to get the unlock sim card. The new plan apparently will start in a few days. is $15.00 + 45 for the plan. You also get to pick the sim card: Regular or micro and also the service provide ATT or T-mobile but you have to let then know what kind of phone you have. What i mean is was your phone a T-mobile phone or and ATT phone that way they can send you the right Sim card.

IPhone 4

I bought an AT&T iPhone 4 off craigslist bc I was told by h20 wireless that it would work on their service without being unlocked. I have since purchased two sim cards cut them perfect and they still won't work :( I called customer service and they said only unlocked iPhone 4's work on their service. I am bummed and confused bc I also saw several you tube videos and google posts saying that they will. All customer service said was go to a dealer, when I asked where a dealer was in my area they advised me to go to family dollar, walmart, best buy ect. I explained that those laces only sell packs and they don't have a clue how to help me they replied... Well is there anything else I can help you with. Please someone help me... I don't know what else to do. Thanks

Thats strange because I'm using my AT&T iPhone 4s with H20.. Are you sure the phone is AT&T? A restore might help.

Straight Talk uses the AT&T network
No need to be unlocked
But, in order to open APN settings to enter settings for MMS, it requires jailbreaking.
Since Apple prohibits opening the APN settings, as far as I know there are no apps in the App store which allow this.

The main issue is getting a sim card for it. You have to buy a phone from Straight Talk in order to get the sim card, then put it in the iphone.

Isn't that the whole idea in switching carriers

And I just checked, Straight Talk sells the micro-sims only to fit iPhone. Just a matter of porting whatever number you currently have to them.

I was told you had to buy a $150-$200 phone, and then take the sim card out of it.
