Your mistaking me with Mago. That is first thing. Second thing is that its Game Developers words, and people who analyzed the information about memory paging system in Vega GPUs.
No, this is your second imcomprehensible post in a row.

At least work on getting your terminology correct.

no.. they have something.. and more than one month worth of something.. these apple execs are speaking somewhat vaguely about something they could describe with much more detail.. they're not going back to the drawing board right now.. they've already been back to the drawing board.

I dont agree. its been YEARS. they ignored it, plain and simple. Anytime cook says 'good things in the pipeline' its a bald faced lie in my humble opinion.

yeah, probably right.
it’s been a while since this thread was active but i don’t agree with what i said back then.
my guess now has Apple nearly dropping macPro for iMacPro then changing their mind last minute.

something like that

I don't want cheese grater back. It was a very loud machine. I love the whisper quietness of my trashcan. I hope Apple can keep the noise level down with the new design as well.
[doublepost=1491841018][/doublepost]

my trashcan has always run hot. Hot enough for me to get continuous hard drive heat warnings from DiskWarrior. I have had to install fan control software to run the fan high enough to keep it cool -- so I always hear it.....befvore the trashcan I had a loaded iMac i7 -- which I took in repeatedly for heat issues (apple said it was operating normally)...of course the GPU fried on it.

Ive doesn't have a clue about thermodynamics or he simply doesn't care. The entire offing company seems to run with a malicious compliance mentality.

Dont even get me started about this piece if crap 2016 MBP. The keyboard is complete ****.

High Sierra betas aren't revealing support for any new hardware coming apart from a mysterious one with a single microphone (which isn't a Mini or a HomePod) but whose hardware more closely resembled a MacBook but every laptop in the Apple range has 2 microphones (for better pickup).

I'd say that's a base model iMac waiting in the wings - 21.5" base model which could make the entire range retina but it would be strange to have that released by itself unless the rest of the range was about to go Space Grey and a bit more "Pro" with 6 core CPUs etc next year.

May be the mMP or the new mini has a single mic for Siri.

Hard truths about the promised Mac Pro:

1. It will be as closed as Apple can make it.

2. It will be too expensive for what it offers.

3. People will complain about it no matter what.

Yep, that's basically what I'm expecting. If the iMac Pro starts at $5000, I'm guessing the MacPro won't start at less than that, and then there will be a $1000 monitor on top of it.

And I believe this is what's it's gonna look like. Modular could as well mean stackable modules made by Mr. Apple company.

Beautiful modelling!
Thank You.
I too wish they will eventually understand the needs of ours, and that they will deliver the good stuff for us. Why not, is there anything to loose? Everyone knows Apple lost it last time with the Mac Pro. They have said so themselves. It's just that do they really understand what went wrong. And do they really understand they might need and want the creative people to stay with them. To stay with their platform. I think platform is everything for them. I believe their Platform is not only iPhone, it's a lot more. I think they should not forget that.
