I did, and I actually didn't do a full backup prior to the update.
I should note, though, that daily driver is probably a misnomer for me. I have a small enough library of critical documents and data (photos/music) that it's all backed up on free cloud services.
The only processes I really need this computer for is as a media server (Plex, which is working fine), basic internet connectivity, and Kerbal Space Program (also working just fine, although if it didn't, a little break probably wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for me.
)
The only thing of value for me that did break for me was iStat menus, which is annoying, but I may have also had an old version of that... I also love dark mode, but any menu item that isn't first party looks awful/invisible.
I'm also giving Safari a good spin before I fire up Chrome Beta. So far I'm liking it.
I haven't checked on my Windows 8 partition yet, but I use that so rarely, that I didn't really mind if something happened to it.
