With all the rumors about delays and the very fact that my order is stagnant makes me curious about what is going on.

Has anyone received any week 05 machines or anything after a week 06 machine?

I am getting so sick of the lack of information from Apple.

I just initiated an advanced replacement for my 27" i7 last Friday (Jan. 8) evening due to a bad Super Drive. Apple.com is now showing a ship date of Jan. 25, and this is after my order was "placed at the front of the line" according to the manager from online sales that I've been working with. He claims there's "something holding up production currently."

Has anyone received their new quad core imacs recently?

This is what I want to know too. Don't seem to have had many people on here with week 02 on, cue the wild "production hold up" speculation (me included)!

I ordered mine in November, it came, and it was DOA.

Second one came on Dec. 4 and, other than a little bit of HD noise, it's perfect. In fact, I think the noise has actually decreased since I've had it (or it could be that I just got used to it.):D

I just know I'm going to regret typing this...

Week 02

No noise HDD (1TB)
No screen flicker
No Yellow

If going by some posts on here, I guess I'll reserve judgement until at least a month of usage.

why would you regret it?

It seems that you have a perfect iMac :p

Mine was ordered on the 30th (of december). Ship date Jan 14th. Shipped Jan 3rd, got it the 6th.

So based on this small sample it looks like there are delays

I have not seen any machine from this week or any week 03 machine.

I just talked with ECS

They basically don't know anything.

I asked when my replacement would arrive and she just said there are no machines to ship you or they would.

I really think some kind of delay is real.

No one has gotten any week 3 machines and the waiting for quad core thread is stalled. No one is getting shipments.

I guess you could call the company that makes the iMacs:) for more info. But im guessing you would have to speak Chinese.

Excuse my ignorance about Apple's week numbering scheme, but I think that is because it is only week 2 of 2010?

Apple does a 53 week and seems to skip week 1.

Last monday i had a week 2 ship so it's safe to assume if they are shipping this week, they were week 3s.

The status on my account still states shipping scheduled for the 14th but not yet shipped, this is odd..

On another note, what is that cool calendar window in the post above?
