Because now iPadOS is just a big iPhone it’s not right for the iPad if they don’t evolve the iPad now it’s not worth it for me; just to go on Facebook and YouTube, most people get it like I did as a luxury device that they don’t need, I use my 16” MacBook Pro for all my pro work

You mean it's just a big iPhone for you - you can't speak for others.

Big upgrade over the 2020 10.2” iPad. Love it and don’t regret it. Makes a great companion device for my MBA.

I have a 2018 12.9”. I’m going to get an 11“ M1 because of an old broken wrist injury that keeps flaring up. Then, depending on WWDC outcome, I’ll either upgrade the 12.9 or move to a MacBook for travel and photo editing.

So far, the little bit of time with the new 12.9, I’m worried about blown highlights in the photos I’m editing relative to the information in the image data. I only shoot and edit black and white photos unless it’s from my iPhone.

I don't think the thrill has worn off and I really like my 12.9" M1 iPad. I had an initial issue with mine and Apple replaced it for me right away. I'm comparing it to my 2018 iPad and to me its a nice change. Its definitely faster and is super smooth. If I had the 2020 like my wife I probably wouldn't have upgraded as hers compared to mine is really close in performance. Overall I'm really happy with it.

Coming from my 2015 first gen 12.9” pro, this new 2021 is a huge upgrade in both visual quality and speed. I am still in the thrill of my precious iPad lol. This Saturday I will have apple tech have a look at my iPad and see if the big halo around bright spots is normal or not. I do use my iPad at night in low light setting a lot..

And honestly WWDC doesn’t mean anything to me. I like knowing what’s coming, but I bought the iPad because it’s a upgrade to my old one. I play games, browse forums and websites, anything my heart desires.
