Nope, I'm upgrading from a very beat up 12PM that's losing about 10% battery charge per hour.
I use one credit card for all my bills which racks up points, this year I got $440 worth so I got the gift card and I'm trading in my 15 Pro so out of pocket is only $108 which I don't mind paying since when I go on vacation yearly I get the best photos and videos.

There has never been a review that has changed my mind about something that I was going to buy beforehand.
I actually preordered two - 16 PM in Desert Titanium and 16 in Ultramarine so I'll get to try both before I commit. As of now leaning towards 16 PM just for the battery life and Always On Display but so tempted to say screw it all and pick the comfy light pretty 16. we'll see.I thought you were going regular 16 prior to preorders
for people interested in video and photo improvements over the 15. I just saw a review from peta pixel where they say it’s not significant to go upgrade from 15 to 16.

I stick with the pro max every time, battery life is number 1 for me when buying an iPhone , then the screen size (like the bigger screen), and the camera which the pro models always will have over the regular ones.
i’m not really due for a phone upgrade. My 14 PM actually works just fine, and I love the colour the purple one). It still does everything I need or want from my phone.
I think if I were to upgrade this year, it would be to the regular 16 Plus. I think I may miss the telephoto lens, but admittedly, I don’t actually use it that much, and would probably be okay with the 2x zoom, which is just a digital zoom that makes your photo 12MP rather than 48MP. It’s actually not that bad.

What's your battery life nowadays?
I've seen online about quite a few people complaining it's not enough for all day although that of crosses depends on your usage.

I can see the camera button being discontinued in the next two to three gen like the Touch Bar. What's the point of this button if you literally have all the camera controls on the screen and can access it with your thumb?
I remember back in the days when Apple was determined to remove all buttons and ports of the iPhone, and now two more buttons that almost no one uses.

I'm considering picking up the 15 pro at s reduced price as it's now a year old, so what was so "awful" with your 15 pro?
I may want to switch colors??? Other than that, I am an idiot and will keep giving Tim my money.
Don’t mind, it’s ironical. I‘m just a marketing victim that switches annually. To be honest, the 15 pro is a great iPhone, it actually gave me a bit of the feeling I had last with the X: the slightly rounded edges and the lighter weight really makes it feel different and better than 12/13/14 (Pro) and I appreciated that there was a black variant again that deserved that naming.
If there is a downside, than maybe the battery capacity - I really experienced it not that good, only the 12 Mini was worse.
Btw I ordered the 16 Pro desert titanium - will be my first non grey/black. I always looked out to a kind of bronze one, let’s see if it matches my taste.
Last year I forgot my 14 Pro in my room while traveling so I used the 13 of my wife during brunch and... I couldn't even take the shots I imagined in my head, not enough lens and features...! But I'm a bit intense with my photos now 😅
However, I still take a look at them every now and then a year later and every time it brings me right back into those moments, those beautiful sunrises and sunsets, that delicious food... it's hard to describe the feeling, but all those photos were 100% worth it.
Same, the larger display is utterly useless and don't get me started on the camera button.
