what do i do in idemocracy?

try to jailbreak it with idemocracy i know in my earlier jailbreaking days of downgrading to 1.02 when it gets downgraded it will still be in the triangle(bricked state) i used appsnapp to bring it out of it. thats why i recommend jailbreaking it

it says the jailbreak completed successfully but nothings changed.

still no triangle, just the itunes logo and dock connector, and still unrestorable.

i jailbreaked with jailbreakme.com

i just tried using ibrikr to fix it cuz it puts it in like DMU or something mode.

and it was 1.1.1 when i jailbreaked it, and everything was going smooth til i tried to restore it so i could sync with my music.

and i tried every "jalbreak" button there is in idemocracy. nothing works.

im in tears.

iphuc is your best hope, heres a guide, but you need an outside copy of 1.1.1 to execute: http://www.tuaw.com/2007/11/09/iphone-testing-the-1-1-2-jailbreak/
its like in the middle:

"I quit iTunes and connected to my iPhone using iPhuc. It's not an especially recent version of iPhuc but it did offer two key features: enterrecovery and filecopytophone. Using iPhuc, I typed "enterrecovery", let my iPhone do exactly that--enter recovery mode--and quit. ...
I relaunched iPhuc, and from there, I issued a filecopytophone command with one argument, the WTF from the unzipped Firmware/dfu folder, namely Firmware/dfu/WTF.s5l8900xall.RELEASE.dfu. To finish with iPhuc, I entered "cmd go". I then restored my phone to 1.1.1 with iTunes and navigated to jailbreakme.com to perform the jailbreak."

happened to me yesterday I was so scared, I tried 1.1.1 and i got error, tried 1.1.2 and got error.. I restarted my computer and i tried 1.1.1 again, got error 1015, different from the others, and thats when Ibrickr came in handy to boot the phone.

okay this is the meathod that i used a while back but it was pre 1.1.1

Take the sim cars oit of your phone

Plug your phone in TO THE WALL not computer

Hold down the home button and the power button for arround 15 seconds

If you see the apple logo, plug tje phone in, right after that restart it in recovery mode, use itunes to UPDATE your iphone, after this is done, RESTORE your phone

Hope this still works

Oh and put your sim back im after the ipdate but before the restore

Fixing the error 1604-1603

I had this error sometime ago. It is AN EASY FIX. First of all. RESTORE the iphone to 1.1.2. After you get the error (1604 or whichever it is) RESTART your PC.

Before your PC boots up unplugg the iPhone. Once your PC restarts, OPEN iTunes. Once iTunes is open CONNECT your iPhone and click again RESTORE.

That should defenitly kick you out of your problem.

I know it did with mine and I was in an even worse situation than you (I did this to an AppleCare Service iPhone) so imagine that.

Now after you update to 1.1.2 and if you still wish to go back to 1.1.1 FOLLOW the instructions on the thread "Jailbreaking iPhone 1.1.2 - A n00bs guide" found here in this same Forum

Same fix. Just restart it. I know this because an Apple technician wh happens to be my brother-in-law told me 160X errors are iTunes related and a Restart must be issued.

PS - My brotherinlaw was the one who helped me with that AppleCare phone...lol. Ironic isn't it?
