The Aston Martin tenders are the only ones that aren't a wall of distracting light! Awful.
As long as some manufacturers have the good sense to keep making cars with a physical volume control and physical AC controls, those will be the only manufacturers I buy from. Why would I want to take my eyes off the road any more than is absolutely essential?!?
Thank heavens that there are brains to be found in some heads! I drove a rental with no physical AC controls and it was a shock to me that any manufacturer could be that moronic.
Edit: "Now, Euro NCAP is not insisting on everything being its own button or switch. But the organization wants to see physical controls for turn signals, hazard lights, windshield wipers, the horn, and any SOS features, like the European Union's eCall feature."
Oh, wow, they're not even talking about AC controls here... I hadn't even heard of anyone removing turn signals or wipers or that other stuff from manual controls!!! Insanity... 🤯
We’ve denounced the lack of buttons and knobs in modern cars before, but we wanted to give readers a chance to air their grievances, too. We asked readers what car settings have no earthly business being buried behind a touchscreen.

Physical controls should literally be mandated by law to protect everyone from distracted drivers.
