At this point you maybe waiting to 2027 or after. It’s really silly. I’m done waiting. Can’t wait for Z flip 6.
I’m venting with my post but I would really love to see them announce this phone and the crowd boo them.
Probably. No one had the guts to call them out. They are boring and predictable. Can’t recall the last time I was excited for a new iPhone announcement.
This is not them bringing the 5x lens to the smaller phone. That's them getting rid of the smaller phone altogether.
I know its is dumb of me, but I was sincerely hoping they'd introduce a smaller version of the pro this time around. Or even make the regular 16 fit between the 15 and the 13 mini sizes. Oh, one can dream.

Clearly not since that’s what we’ve been getting for about a decade now and the complaints get more vocal every year.
Oh well the sales always seem to suggest otherwise. If people want change they are going to have to show apple. I personally can't justify it anymore.
We always get these comments about apple’s iPhone, but reality is what else can be done with a phone? It’s a flat screen. The innovation is INSIDE. Further people act like the alternative is better. It’s NOT. Android is HORRIBLE. Taking it further how many techies here saying this are driving Teslas which haven’t change in how many years? The only thing you can complain about when it comes to an iPhone is the price.
Yes. Because it’s under the covers that matters.
Why change what works? The headphone jack worked. The home button worked, the basic flat rectangle screen workers. IF a folding phone actually worked, I'd be on board, but it doesn't yet.
I disagree, it's not the only thing that matters. Options and interface matters also. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I personally can't justify another purchase of an iphone as is. Really looking forward to the Z Flip 6.
True. For example windows 8 and 8.1 were atrocious imo. Thankfully they backpedaled in windows 10, to an interface I like better.
Same with iOS. I like the overall interface. I don’t need some drastic redesign, options are good.
From far away, my xs max looks similar facing the screen to my iPhone 15pm. Yet under the covers, well there is a huge difference running iOS 17.
But hope your z flip 6 works out for you.
Wait, I’m in that same situation with a 13 Pro Max. We are half way through a cycle and you have a really capable iPhone still.
Yeah, I'm thinking of just porting to a SIM-only plan then 7.5 months from now get the 1st iPhone 16 Pro Max in my country.
Because of your reply I talked to my account manager and changed my order a SIM-only plan for the next 7 months.
