Never order from Hermès for an Apple Watch. No return for any reason so if the watch has a mark on the casing or you don’t like the stitching of the band you are stuck.
I typically get overnight shipping but I believe they ship from New York and it’s 2-3 days to NC for a frame of reference.
Id personally do that, but if it’s listed on the Hermès site it’s in stock (I’m impatient haha).
The safe bet is to go via Apple even if you have to wait a week or two. You can use the watch and make sure it’s perfect and return if it isn’t.
I have ordered twice from Hermès without any issues. I would call their customer service on the return policy to get it straight from the horses mouth. They deliver faster than Apple in my experience.
My purchase finally shows on my Apple Card as pending so I expect it to ship this weekend!!!
I got the Apple Card specifically for this reason, to buy the watch (and my other Apple purchases) because I am getting about $43 back, so it’s as if Apple gave me a discount on the Watch.. Watch will be paid off as soon as it’s billed

There are no issues with Hermès unless you want to return the watch. It’s just not worth it if your watch has a slight defect. It’s so much easier to deal with Apple.
I’m speaking from experience on this. I just moved but I’d look at the letter they sent me when I attempted a return. It took them 1 month to review the return and then send the watch back to me (without any communication) until it arrived to my doorman via FedEx.
If I can find the letter I’ll post it. Needless to say I won the dispute with my credit card company. Just not worth it in my opinion.
Off topic, but I find it amusing how on Reddit they actively demonize anyone who buys a higher end Watch (especially Ceramic/Hermès) yet here on MR tons of people who buy them yearly and no drama.
That is for most things in life. It’s not an investment so I don’t expect it to hold value etc. It’s more of a life is short and it gives me enjoyment type of purchase.
Oh for sure. Not ‘worth it’ but I buy them because I’ve realized as I get older you get what you pay for and I’m tired of owning junk.
I may be wrong but I think they are exclusive to the new model watch. Can’t remeber from my series 3 to 4 Hermès watches.
I have all of the new faces on my Series 4 except the black version with Watch OS 6.
okay so it confirms that the black face is exclusive to the SBSS model
I used to post pics on Reddit of my Hermès S3 and S4 and always get heaps of downvotes and negative comments. So I don’t bother anymore.
So much better to share the love here or over in the Purse Forum.
Could be exclusive to S5 and not just the SBSS. Guess we’ll find out in 6 days.

I do hope so too. Am looking at the Hermès line up and prefer the SS. I have the S0 SS and S3 ceramic, all my existing bands look better than lighter color casing.
Has anyone’s shipped yet? Mine is preparing to ship since yesterday. Card was charged so I think it will ship and show up on my UPS account later tonight
