Thank you for sharing as I’ve always loved the Double Tour leather bands yet never seen one and Apple’s pics never show how it looks on the wrist! I have the same small wrists and I’ll wait till my S6 Nike+ arrives to consider purchasing DoubleTour in blue stained leather vs Milanese band ; still undecided.

Currently deciding between which single tour to buy with my soon-to-be SS 44mm. I'm having a hard time deciding between fauve, navy or noir. The noir would have been a no-brainer, if the hardware was silver. The black hardware clashes with the SS. I don't feel the additional $300 warrants the déployante which has silver
Understandable, but with that logic, wouldn't the noir déployante also have the black hardware, then?
I wish it was, they have almost the entire range with silver hardware, imagine if you wanted the space black model, they have to make something that matches it. The deployment is an excellent choice, from what I understand those that have purchased it, find it the cost worth the convenience and reduced wear on the leather.
the black band is deployment, the orange is the regular buckle. The regular buckle is fine, it does get the crease where it bends, the deployment does not.
I had exactly this same dilemma. I finally opted for the Navy, mainly because it would ship earlier. But I also went for a Fauve Double Tour as I wanted a brown strap too! Both are great. I think you need both....Ok, thinking of starting off the new year by finally joining this club and buying my first AW Hermès. This will be my first AW too. Now narrowed it down and deciding between Navy or Fauve. Which would you choose as your first band? I mostly wear black/dark colors. Help! ?

I edited my photos to be as close to real life as possible. I would say it’s actually more blue and watery than the hero shot. If you want black, indigo looks very very close to black and I feel like that leads to resale prices on eBay being pretty low.
Yeah it’s Navy Fall 2020 on the right. Not my favorite color but it was 50% off and all my other blues are 44mm...

The 44mm double tour. Somehow found an s6 for half off without the (boring) sport band. There’s lots of good pics of the leather lin around. I don’t know if we’re allowed to mention Apole Insider but their review video gives you a good look...not a fan. Unlike the pictures there is not in fact grain on the pills and it makes the saddle I just got look kind of dull and fake. I haven’t seen the black in person but I fear it suffers from the same dissonance. My working theory is the Leather Link begs for some color.
