Do Hermes pre-order dates usually align with Apple and does it mean shipment a week later? The date on its own does sound about right, just guessing.

I think the question here would be the legitimacy of the message itself. All of my emails going back a few years end with:
We look forward to seeing you again on hermes.com or at our other stores.

Or go to an 18 month cycle. The S0 was released in June IIRC, the Series 1/2 didn't release until the following fall.

I wonder how much the delayed release factored into the square prototype being a viable deke that caught Kuo, Gurman, and the Prossfather with leak spilled all over their trousers.
My bet is that it was likely more of Apple leaking false info to try and find who is talking to the press at Apple.
You don’t just fall back to the old design days before launch without months of testing, etc.
it is not clear why the Hermès straps are not available and the Apple ones are and the thing can only be that Hermès was not ready with the products.

when did production start (it seemed to be at the beginning of September)
how many products do they make per day
how much availability they want to have

Or Hermès didn‘t want the bands to be sold beforehand because that may lower the number of S7 Hermès Watches that will be sold.
Cannot wait to spend the $1,500+ Hermès watch! Hope it is not in back ordered already!

just be careful with selling. Apple could technically release the series 7 December 21st (unlikely but still in their range). If your goal is to pick up a series 7 that is.
I have a jumping band that I wear regularly. Easily one of the most comfortable bands I have.
