Doesn't affect me. I'd imagine it'll be based on one of their analog watches, it'll be terrific, and it'll cost 5x what a AW Hermes costs. So yeah... doesn't affect me.

PS Hoping for a new Noir-hardware Jumping band later this fall. Highly unlikely that they'd skip, considering the SBSS S7 release.

Question to the Hermes team: I’ve been buying SS since the first watch and thinking about getting an Hermes S7 when comes out. Actually it’s the jumping strap the one that made me think about it. My question: is it a band that one can use to go to the gym or do some sport? Can it also get wet?

According to Apple, it is swimproof! Any nylon band would be, but they come out and say it on the store page. I wonder how that breaks down wrt chlorine/saltwater/sweat.
I’m never going to put my Jumping through the paces like that, but the band is so much stiffer (in a good way) out the box, I can see it standing up well to some liquid interaction and not withering like Apple nylon from back in the day.
It will be interesting to see just how well Hermes’ famed dye competency holds up over time. I’m sure before long we will see an eBay listing for someome‘s Jumping that they daily’d to hell and back.
I just throw the (infamous, included) orange (or any other) sport band in my gym bag, and swap when I get there. Problem solved!
Yep. What an odd way to implement. Not having to scroll through millions of colors, good idea. But no discoverability.
Still don’t see Noir colorway on the Hermes face though.
Yeah they’ve decided to make it exclusive to SB watch again. I guess I’ll use the new Gold for my noir bands.

🤩 I have already decided (well I’m 90% sure) to choose Bleu Lin over Lime (at least for the initial order). Such a great, subtle, tasteful colour. Will go perfect with the Sierra Blue iPhone Pro, too. I‘m going to have to see how the Attelage looks IRL, but if I don‘t like it I‘ll just put a „regular“ lug on it.

Been going back-and-forth the last couple of weeks but I’m pretty sure I will pick up a series 7. Hopefully chargerstore or someone sells the new lugs so I can update my bands, as I assume they will be a bit different like when we went from S3 to S4.
So is the selection you can find on Hermes shop at the moment some kind of NOOS-selection that won’t go away or will it disappear when new straps kick in? Thinking of getting orange and black double.
They sound very confident in that email. I certainly hope they release it ASAP! If it’s too close to Xmas or after new year, people would just wait for the S8.
