Yeah so clearly there’s a trademark ratio to the Hermes face numerals. Honestly I love the extra padding with the blanc bg ☄️☄️☄️…but it does leave the black bg faces with s6 bezel, as we surmised upthread.

1.22 aspect ratio on both s6 and s7 though…perhaps they wanted to leave more header and footer. My s4 smushes the 12 down when there’s a Do Not Disturb icon active, so maybe instead of increasing the numerals they left it alone to allow for more elegant space-sharing with all the little HUD glyphs.

I’ve been following this thread for the pics. I went with the Biscuit for the 7. Would love to see a Gold. That is one of my favorite colors for the Calvi. Thanks for the pics!

Here’s what I walked out with my pickup (the smaller boxes fit inside the bigger box).

I made my purchase and did a trade in with an old iPad I replaced recently then went to sit and set up the new watch so I can send my S6 to my niece on my way home. While I was working a super nice employee came over and said “you didn’t get the bag for your watch?! Just give me a minute. If you bought that watch you deserve to also have the bag!” ☺️

Yeah, the stock people are so focused on getting the items out on the floor they forget AW Hermes gets a special bag. A store rep noticed I didn't have a bag and told another rep. They both ended giving me a bag at the same time. One of the reps pulls back the bag abruptly and says the bags are counted out exactly to match the number of AW Hermes they have!

My S7 AW won't update to 8.0.2, saying that with 8.0.1 it's already up to date?? Is 8.0.1 the most up to date watchOS for S7?

Interesting. I’m guessing they have a few extra just in case a bag gets ripped, though.

That’s what mine says. It shipped with 8.0 and updated while setting up.

Hermes Rep did say they got a late delivery and watches showed up around 3pm. They had a lot of options on both 41 and 45mm

I actually like the rouge H noir circuit over the biscuit so far. In person it is just a really rich warm color. I do think they both are so unique, and i will be keeping the Biscuit even though at first I wasn’t sure. Just waiting for my Noir/Bleu Electrique to come next week from Hermes. Hope you enjoy your watch, I just love the partnership between Apple and Hermes.

The Rouge H isn’t for me. Just way too dark compared to the website pictures. I’m slightly disappointed with the colors for the Series 7 so far with the exception of the Biscuit. Still wanting to see my favorite color - Gold…

It’s so clever of them to package it separately.

so then it’s easier to swap out a Hermes band watch with the basic orange strap enclosed (for studio).

It is a real black. almost like a gloss black. Graphite SS and Space black SS night and day difference.
series 5 is still lighter then s7 hermes space black

I received confirmation earlier today from Hermes my watch shipped. It was a race between Hermes and Apple (duplicate orders). Hermes won and I cancelled my Apple order.

I've been checked that all day... From pending supply >> Received by Warehouse >> In preparation.

Yes. It is the same level of space black. I had the Series 5 Hermes and there is no difference at all with the series 7 that I can tell.
