Definitely get the Fauve (fawn brown) Rallye. It only came with silver hardware, that’s just weird hero shot lighting. The other rallye pic is also silver hardware with dramatic lighting, but that eventually also came in black. Medor (the stud) is probably the rarest of all Hermes bands, but not for me. And that looks like Bleu Saphir Epsom, also pretty damn rare. I have it and love it.

But if the Rallye (the only ever grained barenia they’ve done) is anywhere near good condition, go for it. I think it looks better with patina than without. I, in my lack of knowledge, covered mine in coconut oil the second it got here, and actually don’t regret it.

Definitely skip the bleu lin and the noir/blanc for now, you can find those later.

What would you say is the plus/minus of the different leathers? I think there's barenia, swift, and epsom?

Barenia can handle moisture and oil better than swift but will show patina.

Swift is more resilient and takes the dye beautifully but I guess once marred, it won’t carry the imperfection like barenia—it’ll just look more dirty/flawed.

And if you don’t mind the textured style, Epsom is basically impervious to everything. You can buy a filthy used Epsom and get it looking amazing.

And then there’s gala, which they’ve only used on the Eperon D’Or and Black Rallye. It’s like a waxy leather reminds me of motorcycle gear haha. I guess it marries the benefits of barenia and swift.

And then there’s box leather, which I think was used on the original noir/silver buckle, never handled that one irl.

Box leather is epitomized in earlier Kelly bags. Seen here. It is the shiniest leather in the Hermes house. But it's not patent. It resembles old school briefcase leathers in the 50s and 60s. It has a special allure amongst certain crowds.

Wow, so many different versions of leather! Also ran across this website: https://www.vendome.mc/hermes-leathers-guide/

Hermes has worked with cotton canvas. Wonder with the Jumping bands if it's Hermes first time working with nylon.

And black version also they have. Is it ideal for man's wrist? What do You think?

If your wrist is small, yes. I see no issue with a man wearing a double tour, but the bands are tiny.

I have small wrists 155mm so they would fit me. I’ve seen other male members on here post pics of the double tour and I remember them looking quite nice but I can’t find the pics anymore.

How does it look on your wrist? Do you like it?
I don't like it, it's short for those with medium wrists, those with large wrists can't use it. if you tighten it too much it can be annoying and it is too loose. having a small wrist is maybe ok, but at that point you take the 41 version and you have the possibility to take the attelage version which I find perfect. maybe in the future there will be an attelage version with a length of 45.

It def doesn’t feel amazing, esp if you’re trying to do tasks where you flex your wrist, but fashion is suffering &c

Note: Noir/Bleu Électrique, “Circuit 24” on the Hermès site in Italy the few, very few, stocks finished in less than 24 hours, a few more stocks are expected in the coming weeks. on the Apple Italy website it is out since the booking days, but it could be available again for a short time in the next few days.

Note2: The shipping time for Apple Watch Hermès is just over a month (37 days) if you order today. Until a couple of days ago the shipping time was over 45 days. By mid-November I expect it to be within 15 days.

Note3: Consideration on the "Circuit 24" series.
the Biscuit / Bleu Électrique coloring is still available, it has never sold out, at least in Italy, and I am quite surprised. I believe that the Biscuit color has not really taken the users who have "sled", sending the straps sold out, on very classic colors such as Rouge H / Noir and Noir / Bleu Électrique, that is the color Black, Blue and Red.
on the Biscuit / Bleu Electrique coloring I had also written that for me it is a novelty in terms of new colors and as a combination, compared to all the new colors presented.
