I am right there with you. I upgrade every year both my watch and iPhone. Met a forum member 4 years ago who buys my iPhone every year so I don’t even have to look hard for a buyer. Always have successfully sold my Hermes watch on the forum here. I do it cause I can and want to.

Curious what do you usually get for your Hermes watch every year? Do you include the bands too?

I’ve been browsing through some of the older posts and have noticed that some of the bands seems to have the size stamped into them (e.g. 38 mm or 42 mm) while others do not. Anyone happen to know the reason for this?

I sell the watch face only, with the original Hermes Apple boxes and none of the leather bands for $500 plus shipping.

Happy to announce that I finally got a chance to order a SB Hermes. Coming from SB Titanium series 5 and looking forward to a change.

So has Apple addressed the UI issue for the Hermes watch faces? Sorry if this has been discussed in here as I did not read back. They clearly did zilch and did not stretch out the faces to accommodate the new edge to edge display. You can clearly see the laziness from my pic from last year series 6 (cropped) and a pic I saw on here with the series 7. Look how tight the 8, 9, 10 are on the series 6.

It's stopping me from paying the extra $600 premium as I love the watch faces usually...

Nope on watchOS 8.1 but clearly it’s a choice by Apple and Hermes.

They definitely pushed the numbers and complications out further on the circulae face.
Classic typography faces the numbers haven’t been pushed out.
Me and @athousandbands did some comparisons some pages back.

I'm looking at my series 7 right now, and switching back and forth between the photo watch face (which fills the screen) and that exact Hermes face you've got there, they both equally fill the entire display.

Interesting connection between the new notched MBP menu bar and the Hermes face. House of Apple loves text floating in space on the runway this fall season.

Hard to say it was “missed.” They lavished so much attention on every single face, even on series 3. The Hermes look is simply not numerals pushed out too far to the margins.

Does anyone have a 165mm wrist and success with the double tour? It looks like the max is 155, but not sure if there’s any wiggle room in that measurement. Thanks!

I measured my wrist the other day as I thought it was feeling uncomfortable compared to the old doubletour bands - turns out when you put on 20kg some of it goes on your wrist too!

you might be able to get away with the older bands and the plain double tours but not the gourmette, it would be too uncomfortable

Yeah, me too.

Hard to say it was “missed.” They lavished so much attention on every single face, even on series 3. The Hermes look is simply not numerals pushed out too far to the margins.

That seems to be their opinion, yeah. Which is stupid.

Also, apparently "the Hermès look" doesn't allow the always-on version of the Hermès watch faces to be anything but super dim, either. Which, to me, is even more stupid/inexplicable. I mean, the "70% brighter AOD indoors" is one of the very few material changes from S6 to S7 and indeed makes the Watch look and work more like a "real", glanceable-at-all-times wrist watch – except for the Hermès watch faces. WTF.

Thanks - have you tested this? I am going to buy a Hermes watch just to try it.

I can confirm - I own both Hermes AW7 and a sport AW7. When I set the Sport up using the Hermes backup...the Hermes faces aren't there.

We’re beating a dead horse at this point because it was discussed at length already but I did notice the other day that on these faces the top row does not move down to accommodate notifications whereas on the versions of this face with the black backgrounds it does. Is that’s also the case on earlier series?

If anyone goes to either website and happens to see it available, can you please post it on here so I hopefully see it?

I ended up returning the Barenia Gourmette yesterday as it wasn’t what I really wanted. I’d much prefer the double attelage if I can get it from Hermes or Apple.

The Bleu Lin is a nice color. If it were to patina a darker blue I’d be very tempted to purchase the band
