Feeling some love today for the Apple saddle brown leather loop. I bought it for my SS gold S5 and only wore it once as I felt it didn’t go very well.

Looks great on a SS Hèrmes IMO

does anyone know where I can get space black attelage lugs or cheap knock off Hermes bands with the lugs? I'd like to unscrew the lugs and put them on other bands, but I can only find the generic normal lugs online.

I wonder if Hermes could provide replacement lugs. At least if you want to use them for other Hermes bands.

These lugs are (still, I think) the S0-3 shape but are great quality when I got them from this vendor when they were on Etsy:

I would like someone to confirm as my take on it is that it is the colour of the face you can download without the Hermes branding? It just says a matching Circuit H watch face is available - meaning maybe a matching face without the branding maybe

Folks, you really gotta let that idea go. There is no „download“, it was just poor wording. You will never get an Hermès watch face - or any other special watch face - when you buy a certain strap. The watch faces are 100% tied to the Watch model you have.

Maybe in a far away future - or alternate universe - where Apple implements a watch face store for the Watch something like this will be possible, but not right here right now.

I agree 100%. Watch faces come from the software installed on your iphone which when downloaded recognizes from your serial number that your watch is a Hermes model. There are no QR codes to update IOS software.

I think it simply means that from your Hermès Watch there is a matching Hermès Watch face available. It doesn’t mean that you will suddenly have an Hermès face magically downloaded to your non Hermes models.

Just an idea but if somebody wants a Hermes face without having the Hermes version, couldn’t they download a picture of a face they like and simply use the picture (something like that) face within the app to set that face as the background? I realize it won’t have the Hermes font or anything but it’s something?

You can do this, but the “Photo“ watch face has only digital time available (no hands). So it wouldn‘t really look anything like a real Hermès watch face.

If you buy a non Hermes watch the following year and restore from backup, then why would the Hermes watch faces you had been using not be there? Makes no sense.

And yes, the Watch face will be removed. You don’t own the Watch faces, they come with your watch and you only use it. As simple as that.

Also, it makes a ton of sense - for Apple and Hermès. Because they obviously do want you to always get the more expensive Watch if you want those exclusive watch faces.

I can confirm.
I have both AW Hermes, and normal AW SB stainless steel.
Both are paired with current iPhone.
Hermes watch face only available on AW Hermes, the normal stainless doesn't have Hermes watch faces.

Does anyone have a 165mm wrist and success with the double tour? It looks like the max is 155, but not sure if there’s any wiggle room in that measurement. Thanks!

You will be on the last hole. Even if Hermes punch an extra hole for you,i would not recommend it as it wont be nice as the remaining strap will be very difficult to put it into the 2 “loop”

Pls see the pic from my wife. 165mm. I checked with hermes before purchasing. They told me 165 is the max. We went ahead to purchase as my wife is pregnant and her normal wrist is 155

Why would you upgrade every year? The features aren’t that different.

Always do. Just want the latest and greatest. Same with my iPhone. Plus, I can usually sell my watch where the cost to upgrade is negligible. If you keep it more than two years it really goes down in value. So, really, I am not spending much more than someone that does not upgrade every year, if any.

iPhone is a no brainer to upgrade every year. Holds its value well and never pay much to upgrade either.

Hermès faces are attached to the Hermès watch SKU in the watchOS software and not your backup.
I had the S6 Hermès watch and changed to an SE briefly when I sold my S6 and the S7 wasn’t released yet. Definitely no Hermès faces.

I am right there with you. I upgrade every year both my watch and iPhone. Met a forum member 4 years ago who buys my iPhone every year so I don’t even have to look hard for a buyer. Always have successfully sold my Hermes watch on the forum here. I do it cause I can and want to.
