Hermès Edition Owners Thread

I think the difference between Gold and Fauve is less about the initial coloring (which seems to be very close). More important is that they are different leathers and will age differently. Fauve will patina and darken over time. I think Gold, being a Swift leather, will stay closer to its original color. Someone please correct me if I’m off base there. The only Swift I currently own is Noir.

I pulled the trigger on the Bleu Lin/ Vert Véronèse Jumping Tour. I’ll post photos when it arrives and my take on the color but saving the packaging just in case a return is necessary.

I dunno. I do like the blanc. I think I finally found the option on Hermes' website to locate a store and as expected - Toronto as a place that has bands in store :p So that'll be awhile to get there to see any in person :p

I have been on the fence over a Jumping (lol see what I did there :D ) for a while and decided to wait until the March refresh. It hasn't helped. Still on the fence, but maybe if Mr Y posts his (?) Blue Lin when he gets it I may either fall off the fence or get to the other side :)

If the Jumping Tours would be priced a little more reasonably (say, 199 $), I would probably collect them all. They‘re really quite awesome but it somehow feels wrong to pay > 300 for them.

I thought the same until my first. They're on another level as far as nylon goes. Super dense, and providing an awesome look that rides a fine line between formal and casual, all while being safe around water.

At least in this shot the green color is more subtle, which tells me it’s really gonna let the Bleu Lin pop on the other band. If I wasn’t getting Noir/Gris I would be all over this one. Congrats!

I still have some credit for an Hermes band, but I'm waiting for detailed reveals here to decide on a big purchase.

I only really love double tour, so it is Rouge de Coeur, Indigo, or just the classic Gold. Since I already have Rouge H (looks like Rouge de Coeur mixed with Indigo), I'm leaning towards classic Gold. Arghhh...what a tough choice!
 
I wish more of the new bands came in both sizes. I'm interested in the Gris Meyer and the Bleu Lin/Vert Véronèse Jumping, but I wear a 41. I just ordered the Kraft/Orange Jumping from Hermes, which I've also had my eye on, since it's sold out at Apple! I guess I will just thank Apple/Hermes for saving me some money on the bands I can't wear ;)
