And yeah, Jumping bands are great. Not as “premium” as the leather bands but infinitely more premium than every other Apple band (save for the Space Black Link Bracelet) and more versatile than leather to boot.

And great choice with the Noir/Gris Clair! In sunlight it looks pure white, in some artificial light it looks khaki and will almost seem like the Vert/Noir band you were interested in anyway. Almost metallic how the color can shift and personally my favorite Jumping band.

No new watch this year (can't really justify an upgrade from Hermès 7 to 8), but treated myself to a new Jumping :)

There have only been three with black hardware IIRC, it’s a fairly new band style at only a year and a half old now.

Noir/Gris Clair, Noir/Bleu Saphir, and Vert Véronèse/Noir.

Arghhh....you're an enabler. I'm also not upgrading from Hermes Series 7 to 8, so maybe the money goes to a new band as well? But at this rate, I will never be able to part with Apple Watch. I don't want/ like to be addicted to AW. I figured one day when the pandemic is behind us, I want to return to luxury mechanical wrist watches.

I too am not upgrading from the S7 Hermes. I have three jumping bands and three leather bands. Could that be enough? FWIW, I wear my jumping bands way more than the leather. My wrist sweats easily.
 
when is the delivery date of the new leather straps?
the first one who post remembers the first letter of the code behind the strap

My first Hermès was the S7 SBSS & I agree that’s its pretty indestructible. It’s crazy because I never banged or dropped my GSS S4, but this Hermès has been beat up and it still looks new. You’re going to love it!!!

I had space black SS way way way back and one thing I didnt like was how much smaller it looked on my wrist than the SS one.

A band I love using is the silver link bracelet and I think that would a bit weird with the black SS. The Black link bracelet looks amazing with silver SS. Ugh decisions lol

Never tried that combo. I have both the space black and silver link bracelets but have never worn the space black bracelet with the silver watch. Am gonna try it.

I have a Space Black Milanese - I remember putting that on my S2 Silver stainless and it looked great. I will dig it out and see how it looks on a silver Hermés
 
I’m of the mind that Space Black hardware will look at the very least decent on any case color and material because it matches the display bezel and ceramic underside.

Not a huge fan of the opposite but it may work depending on the band.
