Hermès Edition Owners Thread

It does come at a slight premium but if you’re already getting an Hermès band anyway it’s kinda worth it for the SBSS DLC and the exclusive faces which are some of the best.

What band did you get? The new H Diagonal bands in Bleu de France or Cuivre look rather lovely and have SBSS hardware to match.

I have never owned an Hermés and every year I regret it. I currently have the Natural Ti S7 41mm and have always had either natural Ti, graphite or SS. Since the change from S7 to S8 is minimal, I do always like to change to the opposite style, to notice a change, and I knew I wanted dark steel.

First I ordered the graphite, because of the price and the waiting time... but I had that feeling again that I would regret it, so I had this quick crazy reaction and cancelled it and ordered the Hermes SSB 😂

I would have liked a jumping single, but unfortunately there isn't one for 41 and SSB. In fact the only SSB configuration in 41 (my wrist is very small) is with the simple tour noir, which is fine for me. I've never tried a Hermes band, so I assume the leather is awesome. I will try to look for a 41 jumping with black lungs, there was one in green and black that I liked. I usually wear suit in the office so I guess the Hermes would be great.

I was convinced by the two straps, the DLC (I was panicking about scratching it easily), the Hermes faces (sorry for Nike)... and well, I know it's a whim... but it will match perfectly with my SB iphone 14 pro I believe!!

Ah, 41mm. Hermès tends to have quite a few exclusive bands for either size and I keep forgetting H Diagonal is only 45mm at the moment. This season the selection for 41mm is very silver hardware focused, though I wish they still had the past season bands available (on the US site) as there were some amazing options. Those may reappear in the future.

If you’re not in the US, past season bands are still readily available; like that Vert Véronèse/Noir Jumping band.

Noir/Gris Clair and Noir/Bleu Saphir are also lovely.

I think when you open the orange box and touch the Hermes swift leather, your heart will melt. Everything will make sense then. Enjoy!

I personally find it charming but I actually love the sleep mode watch face even more so! I wish that could be the active face too or at least an option (all black with the bright contours).

Now that‘s what I call attention to detail: when the Watch is asleep (in always-on mode), the horse is sleeping, too (eye closed). 👌

Wow thanks so much for that! The problem is that Im EU-based, so it would be awesome to find that strap inside the EU so wont have to pay the enormous taxes for import!
Oh god they also have the noir/blue saphir 🥹 I need those!!!

Yes I checked it, but they only have the current collection, so no jumping for 41 with black hardware... 😞

Check the other EU stores as well, especially France. I once got a strap from there that was sold out in my local online store. No shipping fees, either.

I have just cancelled my order of the graphite S8 for a S8 Hermes SSSB.
Did I do the right thing? I've regretted it and I've always wanted a Hermes, and the DLC is a plus...
My first Hermes 😅

Don’t regret it!! It’s takes the Apple Watch experience to a whole new level between the unique watch faces and the leather of the bands.

I am excited to get my first Hermes edition watch. My first two were SS and I really miss it. My series 0 arrived on day 1 because I ordered seconds after we could. Two days later I was on vacation in Berlin and was the first person to walk into the Apple store wearing the watch. It was not available in Europe yet. I wanted to see the Silver link in person before I spent so much on it.

I will wear the nice Hermes leather when going out to dinner but will probably wear the Stainless Steel bracelet I spent a fortune on for day to day and the sport band when bicycling. I love the Hermes brand but their clothes are insanely expensive. Maybe their Paris store will have a sale when I am there in June. lol

God, really?? Can't wait! I was so worried cause I remember when I had the regular SS and it drove me crazy to see a scratch in the metal. I'm one of those people whose eyes can't take their eyes off a defect haha.

I think I could buy one between the Noir/Gris Clair, the Noir/Blue and the Vert/Noir! Which one do you recommend?
The Vert was on my radar but all 3 look very nice.

And... is a jumping one worth it? I do sport every day and work in an office with a suit, although I often change the strap, I wanted a versatile one that I could use for sport and work... the jumping ones are comfortable for sport? And for sleeping?

I'm about to press the button but I can't make up my mind that it's too much money haha.

Noir/Gris Clair unless you have a special thing for camo colors. Noir/Saph is nice but pretty dark. And Gris Clair matches more things.

A bit of both. You’ll get all of the newer faces, but some older faces have been discontinued over the years.

Good work. I think you’ll find everyone on here favored Gris Clair out of that spring set.

USA store only has stock of the 40mm noir/saphir out of all the old bands, poor guy really didn’t sell.

I have about 25 various Apple straps and since I got my Kraft/Orange Jumping in June I haven’t worn another (other than Hermès leather for smart).

I have a new Rouge Sellier/Bleu Saphir on the way on Friday for the autumn.

I think you’ll love the Jumping for everyday!

Oh I forgot that Apple still has old bands on their sites too 😅

And yeah, Jumping bands are great. Not as “premium” as the leather bands but infinitely more premium than every other Apple band (save for the Space Black Link Bracelet) and more versatile than leather to boot.

And great choice with the Noir/Gris Clair! In sunlight it looks pure white, in some artificial light it looks khaki and will almost seem like the Vert/Noir band you were interested in anyway. Almost metallic how the color can shift and personally my favorite Jumping band.
