Do you think the specific sport band colour is tied to if you bought silver or space black?
Meaning silver only gets you the orange space black the black ?

That is how they’ve been bundled since the beginning so I’d say yes that’s correct.

Go through to a lovely lady in sales and she said after sales CAN do this for you. It may be they can't see your order because it came from Hermes. So she's calling someone to explain and will transfer me. I'll keep you posted!

I went through a bit of a hassle cause initially they thought I wanted to use AppleCare+ accidental use. But simply put just do this.
- Log into your apple support with your ID.
- Under your Hermes AW, create a new case under bands.
- Start a chat and say I would like to order a replacement Hermes Sports Band (Orange or Black)
- They will tell you they see the option to do so in their system and prepare the billing (59$ cad + 10$ shipping for me + Tax$) and it will be sent to your email to enter your CC and pay.

So this has nothing to do with AppleCare+. You just need to have the proper Hermes AW under your Apple ID in order for them to "equip" such accessory.

Ok she said because I ordered from Hermes and not apple, they have no order number for the watch, they can't directly order the replacement and I should contact Hermes. I've sent them an email.

If any of your ordered from the App Store please give it a try and report back! My wife's watch (which is a 42mm) arrives on Monday so I may try to use that order number to get a 45mm black if Hermes is a dead end - it may work!

Picked up my Series 8 yesterday at World Trade Center. Loving the lucky horse face. They had a Blue Lin band left for pick up so got that too. Think I’m good on bands for a while. Or until next season’s releases 😂

As there is a lot of discussion about the orange band/color, I wasn't sure if everyone knew the history of how it became Hermes signature color - basically it was the only paper that Hermes could get during WWII and supplanted the branded paper they used before the war.

I found this out in Deluxe: How Luxury Lost It's Luster by Dana Thomas (which I recommend for anyone interested in fashion or the evolution of luxury brands)

So, I got lucky today with my favorite SSB + Bleu de France being available for pick up at a local store. Placed an order and it immediately went unavailable for both shipping ( weird) & pick up after that. So, guess I got the last one. Within two hours, I was able to pick it up!

I LOVE THIS COLOR! It makes me want to get a SB watch but I can’t justify having both SS and SB just for one band (and I have 10 Hermès bands with SS hardware already)…

Well, that was 'fun'. On chat with support, they didn't understand and wanted me to return my watch. Then they said it will cost to repair as out of warranty (it isn't and I have AppleCare too). I then explained that all i want is to PURCHASE an additional Hermes sports band. They sent me to the chat with the shop. They said that Hermes don't make sports bands and only do leather & nylon. Eventually they agreed that Hermes must do a band as it comes in the box and said I should contact the AppleCare people.

I gave up - I am not too fussed to get an additional band and I have loads of work to do lol.

I took one for the team though. Sorry I didn't have better news :)

Apple Support has gone downhill lately. Seems like anyone you talk to is absolutely clueless.

Hermes responded they are not sold separately! I'm going to wait for my wife's watch to arrive on Monday and try the whole thing again using her order ID. She also wants a black one as an extra.

The funny thing is I wasn't too fussed about getting another band, but as I can't I now want one!
Hahah isn't that always the way! I'll tell them they did it on the 7 and it was one of the reasons I bought the watch and every other excuse for why they can't suddenly change a policy. It might work.

I just bought an additional orange Hermes band last week. It was $50. I can upload the receipt if anyone wants to see? i just did online chat and told the guy I wanted a new band bc mine was showing wear.
