Does anyone know where I could get a black Hermes sport band? The orange is lovely but just not for certain situations.
I mainly wear my leather outside of gym and other work, and waiting for my wife’s red nylon band to arrive before I decide wether to go that way.

joining the Hermes Apple Watch family soon. Ordered a SB with Bleu de France strap on Tuesday and its just shipped today!
I wondered if anyone knew where the straps were manufactured? I had assumed in France, but my looks to have just shipped from the Far East.
are they manufactured in Europe and then packaged with the watch else where maybe?

Congrats on your Hermes purchase
Yes the Hermes Bands are made in France and its actually stamped onto the bands.
The Watch it self of course in assembled in China.
Thats why the Hermes Apple Watch main box has 2 seperate boxes inside.
The lower box has the French made band and the upper box has the Watch, Sport band & magnetic puck.
Im guessing the bands either get sent to a Apple depot somewhere and then packaged together with the Watch and shipped out to the various countries.

If you order from Hermes it comes from France via Fedex (or for £10 extra Fedex express and gets here the next day!).thanks for the info!

I contacted apple support, and told them I lost my band. They're trying to find it on their Systems to send me a new one. Let's see what they charge me!

I did and originally bought the S8 stainless steel graphite! really wanted a darker colour so sent it back and went for SB.
my last watch was the S5 edition titanium space black and loved the finish on that.
Oh let me know Im interested in having a replacement for my black one as they get a bit "glossy" with the frecuent use it seems.
I've emailed Hermes as well, although I expect they will send me back to apple!
A +1.300€ watch with extra warranty should have some replacement options even paying...
So reading back through this thread it was simple to get a replacement and cost around $60 or so including shipping. Now the same method (going to apple chat) doesn't work. They say senior support needs to do it.

I figure such a request would need to be through applecare support or a genius bar appointment; similar things I’ve seen in the past require it be a “repair/replacement” part and trying to buy it from the retail channels won’t get you far because such bundled items aren’t sold at retail so they’ll never find them in the retail systems.
I wouldn’t think so. AppleCare+ doesn’t do anything to cover accessories iirc, unless one of the accidental deductible charge things could be used which I think is more than the replacement band would cost anyway so it’s probably not necessary.
Likely requires having an Hermès watch to get the replacement band for it though, so if the band was only purchased aftermarket then one may not get far.
Do you think the specific sport band colour is tied to if you bought silver or space black?
Meaning silver only gets you the orange space black the black ?
